Might as well bomb it deep every play. Turnover would just be the inevitable punt one or two downs early.

Baylor and TCU are incapable of sticking with the 3-4 yard runs...must throw deep.

Clearly the goal for Baylor is a TCU turnover near the endzone.

Sab0921 posted:35-10? Nope. Wasn't a blowout. Tech let UT back into the game in typical Tech fashion. Dry conditions, very much could have been a blowout. While this year's Tech defense is fresh, they are the far better team than UT. Once the defense is gassed, the team had better have a good lead, or they're in trouble. But hey, scoreboard. In Austin. Suck it longhorns. Rabble posted:Texas could have won that game if they'd focused on time management and running the ball (Tech's defense is atrocious). The lucky TD aside, Mahomes hasn't been playing that well in the second half of the season. The game got very close in the 4th and TTU was lucky to get away with a win. Defense was awesome in most of the first half. UT had 10 first half possessions, scored 10 points. UT had 11 possessions in all of the ISU game. Texas couldn't control the clock late in the game, they were scoring too easily against us. Tech got that huge 4th down stop thanks to a UT penalty. Part of the game. Mahomes hasn't played well on the road. More of the 2nd half of our season was on the road than at home. Even Kansas was able to stifle him. Started to hit on a lot of his passes once the rain let up. I really think he was just struggling to grip the ball.
