We're going to be here a while. I feel like I'd want to get our civvies under Viper cover first. I can build up a strong force in Delta, then next turn if someone moves Civ D, we can start ripping those base stars apart.

Or you know what, let's do a little of both. That way Boomer can leverage CAG actions to shoot raiders. So move a Mk VII to delta and bravo, take a shot (you can move and attack with the same activation for unmanned vipers, right?) and then launch 2 more? How does that plan sound?

Afraid not; one activation is moving or shooting, not both, even for the MkVIIs. The viper being piloted or not doesn't make a difference.

A couple launch raiders crises could definitely see us swimming in raiders so potshots at the basestar are always an option too

Personally what I want to see happen soonish is CivD and CivG both moving towards Delta, and then some extra vipers launching. Then we can start putting fire on the basestars while being relatively comfortable in the safety of our civilians.

As Max pointed out, one Viper activation is a movement or an action. The distinction is that MkVIIs can move 2 spaces in one activation because they're zippy - which, incidentally, is another one of those things that comes up so rarely as to be generally forgettable.

I think it's most efficient to move civilians this turn, so that's what I'll do. ##Move to Communications. ##Activate Comms, moving Civ D to Delta and G to Foxtrot. ##Discard Tac 1-Launch Scout to activate Comms again, moving Civs G and F to Delta.

Thinking of XOing Dear Leader Adama so he can either nuke or use Pegasus CIC or some combination thereof. Only possible if he isn't sent to Sickbay though. Boomer can then do pilot stuff on her own turn, like cover the Civs and engage the Raiders.
