Something tells me the lease has very little to do with Doobie's closing. I don't think the landlord can go "welp, get out" with only a few weeks to go. I don't know why he's not doing the obvious thing and just moving the doghouse inside the garage.

A few months ago he mostly turned the doghouse over to employees/Tasha so he could spend his days doing oil changes and tinkering with his own truck instead of standing over a hot grill all day. Seems like he was looking for an excuse, letting the shack just limp along until something 'forced' him to close without it being his own failure.
