1 - How long is the Nature's Bakery deal? I could see SHR selling a charter to the Wood Brothers and dropping to 3 teams. 2 - This will drop Front Row to fourth among the Ford teams, with the token support they receive from Roush. How does this change them? 3 - JRM has been the outlet for SHR drivers in Xfinity - who do they partner with now? 4 Who takes SHRs spot as a technical partner with Hendrick?

In that scenario, CGR and Rob Kauffman possibly being able to add a car, only to not have a Charter. Boomer The Cannon posted:1 - How long is the Nature's Bakery deal? Jayski on Danica: quote:Stewart-Haas Racing signed Patrick to a multi-year extension on August 18th, usually Cup contracts are for three-years but SHR wouldn't give a length when asked. Nature's Bakery comes aboard as the primary sponsor for 28 races in 2016, also signing a multi-year deal. No word on sponsorship for the other 8 races. His team chart says "2017+" for Nature's Bakery. Wasn't it rumored that that sponsorship deal had more to do with Haas' machining business and Nature's Bakery than Danica?

Ford must be bringing back the cosworth escort so they can have an F1 engine for Danica to drive. Since I can't have a rage creating NASCAR victory for Danica I will take an F1 victory where every other team starts and parks AKA Indy.

I was also under some impression that there was some atypical dealings with the DEI/Ganassi merger. Theresa stopped showing up so they dropped the Earnhardt name. That seemed strange enough to me to suggest that maybe they didn't merge all of their intellectual properties. But I have no idea and can't back that up beyond "it just seemed different," so you're probably right.

F1 sucks don't talk about it in the SASCAR thread. Honestly I'd love to see Ford invest back into IndyCar again. I mean they have a relationship with Chip already as he's running their sports car program. It just seems like an easy fit. They're a great part of auto racing history and I'd love to see them involved in all facets of the sport. also Stewart has run a Ford before. In USAC. He won the Triple Crown with them in '95. Why not wait until the end of the season or at least close to it to announce this? Won't this hurt their chances this year if Chevy and Hendrick decide to be bitter about it and somewhat cut them off of resources?

Damned if you do damned if you don't. I'd say bitterness would be more later on. Did see they would build their own chassis' which they have got theirs from Hendrick. I'd say money and not being in the shadow of Hendrick.

Furniture Row going to Toyota made a lot of sense and I thought smaller Chevy teams would likewise go Ford, but not SHR. This is especially funny because a buddy of mine was bitching that Truex wasn't trying to win the 500 because he was the JGR 5th car which gave them an advantage. I asked him what about the eight Hendrick cars? Welp. So much for that.

It's more related to Ford than it would be Indy. I happen to like the Ford brand quite a bit. I'm happy they're doing the Ford GT and running Le Mans again. Love seeing them with Penske and Wood Bros. in Cup. (Ford GT is also my dream car) Would love to see them in F1, and IndyCar to complete the circle as it were. But whatever.. :shrugs:.
