Lmao cars cost less in Wetaskiwan because the kids off the reserve get their $16,000+ plus and run out and buy a big truck then default on the second half of the payment and they then sell them *for less*

Pawn 17 posted:Also why are the people directing traffic not wearing respirators? Breathing in fire smoke for hours isn't so good for you. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt and say that due to the state of emergency they're either used up or turned to ash. The fire has engulfed hospitals, fire halls (ironically), and other facilities/job sites. Not only has much of that PPE likely been destroyed, but they've also been at this for over two days. I'm not sure if any filter cartridges would last that long.

Those dogs would only burn to death if the fuckers had left them indoors rather than letting them run free so they had a chance to get clear of the fires

Arcsquad12 posted:Those dogs would only burn to death if the fuckers had left them indoors rather than letting them run free so they had a chance to get clear of the fires Homes in the City/Suburbs typically have back yards that are fenced high enough to prevent dogs from leaving. Also if there has been lots of smoke in the air for a while, you might want to leave your pets inside so they are not breathing it in. Also dogs will sometimes rather crawl into a corner of the yard, under the deck, or in a doghouse and die from smoke inhalation/burning rather than running to safety. Also a lot of people were at work, or getting supplies then heading home and were cut off by police, not knowing that they would not be able to go home to get their stuff/pets, so they would not have had a chance to do so.

Sucks for the dogs. You're an idiot if you leave your pets at home during something like this. Even if you're just going to get supplies, put your animal in the car with you, in case, you know, the fire
