If he grew up in Bakersfield, during the time frame I'm thinking of as a presumed 25-year-old, he'd be a preteen/teenager in the mid-2000s, the prime age to develop sports fandom. At that point the Chargers were having their most successful run and surely gathering more casual/bandwagon fans among the SoCal area, especially with a young generation who didn't remember the LA Rams/Raiders. Why EDP threw his lot in with a team from a city he's never been to is still a mystery to me. I mean, the mid-2000s Eagles were really good, but they never struck me as a prime bandwagon team. ^^--I mean at this point I think I'd rather just speculate about his life than watch any more videos of him explaining things. Eh, he was around 10 when the Eagles went to 3 straight Conference championship games and the Super Bowl. That's old enough to start paying attention to sports. Plus McNabb was pretty cool.
