Gin is a great spirit. Goes with tons of things and is generally always better than vodka. In vegas i bought a small bottle of beer in a casino for $7 and 1.5l of gordons gin in a plastic bottle in a liquor store for $13 way to go vegas

hendricks is some really good gin. the stuff i'm currently drinking had fennel seed to flavour it and it just tastes like fennel seed "hints of anise" like gently caress

Cheap gin is a great drink for people who are in denial about being alcoholics - because drinking cheap vodka is admitting to yourself that you are indeed an alcoholic, there is at least some plausible deniability with cheap gin.

I suspect its all actually the same distillery. once you're onto the fancier gins i can but all the cheap gins are perfectly serviceable

If you like Hendricks, get this sometime. It's smoother and more aromatic, but still has that lovely rose flavor: If you want something cheap that tastes great this german poo poo is 300+ years old, comes in earthenware jugs, and tastes like lemongrass + juniper:  Thin Privilege posted:Hands down the best. My parents were always partial to gin. Whenever I'm at their house, my mother asks me to mix up gin and tonics, heavy on the lime juice, right before dinner.
