I've been thinking. Machine C is pretty heavy positive for town, and not very useful for scum.
Typically investigative roles in the hands of scum help them find powerroles. In this game they just need to look at post count to see who has the most likely powerroles. What can a scum do with a lie detect? A cop? A watch? A track? A rolecop? None of those are really helpful to scum. We have a whole bunch of people who claimed what machines they used, if they went heavy on machine C I would lean town on them.
This is not to say Machines B and A are scummy. Just that Machine C is town like.

Also, I used machine C a bunch and do not expect anyone to think I am townie because of it because I am the one that just put forth the theory, therefore could very easily be gaming the system by making that exact same supposition I made. This is not what I did, but I understand why someone (especially someone who already thinks I am scum) would think that way.

I mostly agree with this.

Scum could have done it for cred/to look towny, but I'm thinking most scum would have gone heavy on A or B.
