Weren't matamp and orange related through company founders or something back in the day? I've seen a few old "matamp by orange" amps floating around I think.

Nothing is more important than how your amp looks or what kind of amp you have. I can't even start to enjoy a band until I evaluate their rigs first to make sure their gear is satisfactory. Colour Haze has a new album due out in May. The last album (To the Highest Gods We know)was kind of underwhelming for me but the one before was really cool (She Said). it's called uh huh huh....uh huh huh huh In Her Garden eh huh huh huh.

I saw them in a tiny space a year or so ago opening for Goatsnake where they were really good. Reminds me of later-day Swans but scaled down and more grounded in post-metal.
