Especially considering that I'd already agreed with Chic that A's walk back felt weird, and that two other people also thought it was a joke (Quid and 50 himself), it comes off as incredibly defensive. Other thoughts, while I'm at it: - Chic feels genuine. It was a mild but understandable slide out of joke phase into something serious. Given that the first serious poster tends to come under pretty harsh scrutiny, I don't feel like that's a post scum Chic would make. - Not sure what to make of AA's response. Nothing inherently scummy about being indecisive, but looking at it as AA trying to give a buddy some cover, it could look a little bad. - In the interest of not tunneling, I'm gonna keep an eye on 50s posts today too. If he starts looking scummy, then b starts looking better. - Tonight is deadline so I'd like to see more content from people.

That said "nobody agrees with me" is a bad reason to walk off the case. if you're town i feel like you would be trying to convince people to agree with you rather than throwing your hands up like you are

I also just want to point something out about the claim that I made a walk back. My vote wasn't on a player in the game and I didn't assign it to anyone in votefinder, because it was a joke vote. I am unfunny. I think this is a better explanation than awkwardness, albeit the truth. I wanted to call chic and quid weird for noting it, but decided that perhaps, just maybe, it did look weird. However, I want to go back on that, because I think the obvious joke posts, and vote on no one are weird things to jump on. So chic and quid, I'd like to understand how you interpreted that as such. This is also why I've stepped back from pmush and bees, and have decided that their interaction was genuine.

The reason I interpreted the post as weird was because it was so awkward. You made a joke vote and then two posts later immediately posted an unvote with "Hmm." Joke or not, your self-consciousness stood out and that's scummy and felt like a forced scum joke since you didn't want to lay a jokevote out on any actual player

Definitely agreeing with Chic here, that is incredibly weird, and a good hit of evidence on the pile. Not to mention that jokevoting for a player not even in the game feels like something only someone worried about drawing ire would do. (I didn't even realize that's what that was until AA pointed it out.) B is still my first choice, but I'd absolutely vote AA today.
