I had a chance to try Saw in the U-wing with Ezra/Maul crew and found it to be pretty fun. I thought about making building him to jam him into 3+ ships and shoot/block. I know at PS 6 it will be hard to block up Rookie pilot/Caver zealot x-wings, but it may be able to mess with imperial aces. Here is the Saw build I was thinking about: Saw Guerrera (39) -Anti Pursuit Lasers -Engine Upgrade -Title -Wired -Advanced Sensors -Renegade Refit -Ezra -Maul I thought about it pairing with either a decked out Dash or Rey (would have to drop down the EU to something else to fit it with Rey). Have Saw just head straight in while Dash skirts around taking range 2 to 3 shots or have Rey flank while Saw mixes it up. lazerus06 fucked around with this message at 14:03 on Jul 10, 2018 |

I used a list with Rebel Nym (because he won't exist soon, and I wanted to try him), Wedge, and Wes at a store championship and it picked a 5 x-wing list apart pretty drat quick. Raged posted:With Poonapple ....... Seriously, the gently caress?

I flew something similar (I think I posted the list in response to your question about all da shuttles, actually). It hit hard on the joust, the Lambda and Upsilon when down once stuff got behind it, and the Reaper was the superstar. It was fun.

With that in mind, if you want to run multi-shuttles, I'd trade some of the upgrades around. The Reaper is fine, but put Vader on the ship that only gets one pass anyway. Then give the Upsilon a way to turn around. https://geordanr.github.io/xwing/?f...0Logistics&obs= I feel like you want A Real Ship in place of the Lambda here, though.

once Saw crew takes effect and you take the damage to turn all focus to crits, your attack is resolved and you cannot add attack dice. From my understanding, you can't add dice after the initial roll on attack or defense unless there is the 'after you roll dice' type wording. 'when attacking' refers to the beginning of the attack. I think. FFG think technical writers are the Devil.

Technically they all fit in a list, but you have like 10 points for upgrades and crew, and all the good imperial crew is expensive.

I took this jank to a local store championship last weekend: Wullffwarro (30) Rage (1) Inspiring Recruit (1) Finn (5) Hull Upgrade (3) AP-5 (15) Inspiring Recruit (1) R2 Astromech (1) "Chopper" (37) Fire-Control System (2) Hera Syndulla (1) BoShek (2) Tactical Jammer (1) Total: 100 View in Yet Another Squad Builder I ended up somewhere in the middle of the pack with a 2-2 record. I feel like my losses were mostly due to poor flying, although I got lucky by never playing any of the half-dozen lists with Miranda and/or Nym. Wulf+Rage+Finn is hilariously fun. Reliably chucking 5 fully-modded dice (6 at range 1!) is just straight up good times, and AP-5 can coordinate a Reinforce for extra beefiness or a Rage if you think you will bump. 2x Inspiring recruit means you can do it all again next round. Chopper activated exactly 2 times and was not worth the points. BoShek was a fun gimmick but ultimately didn't do much. I'd swap him for Rey if I could go back in time. I'm honestly not convinced the Ghost was the best ship to complement Wulf + AP-5, but I ran out of time to come up with something better. It did tend to draw a lot of attention, which was nice for keeping the other ships alive longer.

I'm working up a list for Gen Con, and I've decided I want to fly Lone Wolf Dash with Rey crew. What do I pair it with? The obvious answer is probably Miranda, but with this being the Summer of Jank, I'm also thinking of using a pair of T-65s with Renegade refit/servo S-foils/Flight-assist astromech/integrated astromech. The other, possibly dumber option is a pair of TLT Y-wings. Any thoughts?

The large bases and maneuverability for blocking will probably keep Dash's donut very clear.

Oooooo this is smart: There is no longer any difference between "unique" and "limited" cards. They're all called "limited" cards. And you can have as many limited cards of the same name as their are dots. Like Luke Skywalker has one dot. You can only have one Luke Skywalker card of any kind. I don't think there are any two- or three-dot Limiteds yet, but there's some cool design space there. Edit: Like Mindlink, if it exists, could be a two-dot or three-dot Limited ConfusedUs fucked around with this message at 22:44 on Jul 11, 2018 |
