Stronger wizards for a year seems a bit of a disappointing option, strong lists tend to overload wizards already

Hmm dunno - this is a nice buff for Soulblight as foot vampires and necromancers already have strong showing but for example SCE do not really use wizards in their best lists outside of occasional incantor.

The pawsting business is tough work.
Guess I picked a good time to get into S2D.

On that note, anybody have any favorite S2D army schemes that aren't black and gold?

Yeah it probably wouldn't be that bad really. And it seems to benefit one caster just as much as multiple (at least, until your like caster dies!)

Goblin babies did nothing wrong.

I was hoping this GHB would focus on just units with mounts - making a real cavalry army a bit more viable would in the game would be cool considering there's subfactions basically all about them in the lore. Glad it's actually going for 12 months too, half a year feels a bit short for the season. Maybe the Gallatian Veterans thing really drove people up the wall and they had to cut it short.

Can't wait to play some even better Seraphon wizards. The Regiment box for Maggotkin makes me want to get a couple to start playing Nurgle mortals, rend is basically the only thing they're missing.

I wonder how much the box will cost.

So are any of the units in the new Blades of Khorne book just absolute trash to be avoided? I picked up a couple of the starters and I'm curious if there any trap purchases in the faction.

Khorgorath is kind of useless, multiple units have almost his exact same stat block but for *significantly* fewer points.

These dentures won't stop me from tearing out jugulars in Thunderdome.

Seraphon and Tzeentch lists are going to be even grosser if you already struggle against magic, but there's also gonna be some interesting play for that magic nullifying OBR subfaction that has been getting some competitive traction already - Nighthaunt are probably gonna be in a pretty good place too with everything being ethereal.

Curious what it's gonna look like for armies that just don't really ever bring wizards, since this probably isn't enough to drastically shake up list compositions except in a few edge cases where a wizard unit was right on the cusp of viability.

I'm usually a big fan of wacky AoS models but I can't stop thinking about the guy in the basket falling out every time the ogre moves the tiniest bit

hopefully there's a full squad of city ogres, he's very rad in isolation

It's a very humanly proportioned ogre, like without anything for scale it could pass for large bloke.

the article talks about it being a second-generation city ogre. City living changes ogres apparently (to being large blokes instead of large, fat blokes)

Oh gods, I kind of forgot about those. I can't wait to see if my Soulbound GM is going to pull out those since we're dealing with Ghouls at the moment.
With two of the party members falling for the delusions and thinking they're in a knightly court, and now they're going to ride out to break an Orruk siege.

So the preview stream mentioned yesterday is going to feature everything but 40k news.
Feels a bit early for the rest of the Danwbringer books so I figure it'll be CoS time to shine.

Have they released any previews for the Dawnbringer characters or the Regiments of Renown up until now? I know they've shown off the boxes before, but after all the 40K stuff, I don't remember if there's been any info on what they actually do, yet.

They showed off the models back during the Warhammer Fest AoS preview, but nothing more than that. You'll probably find out more on Saturday when the Dawnbringer book reviews come out.

Don't be silly, that's the Kill team thread, for only talking about Kill team. GW definitely doesn't put out any other specialist games.
