[Spoon] posted:How does one do this? I've given this image a lot of thought since I first saw it and can only conclude that the car stuck against the roof came from outside the carpark like a goddamn missile. They must have lost control on the street outside, mounted the curb, bounced off the raised flowerbed and straight into the ground floor of the carpark. Then, given the still upward angle of the car, it simply went straight up and over the bonnet of the parked wagon, flipping it in the process. Of course, the car must have been going at a ridiculous clip to manage to end up like it did.

einTier posted:Yeah, that's him alright. It shows up in this video, that was probably sometime last year. He keeps bringing new dyno sheets around and every time he shows up, it's scarier than it was before -- if that's possible. This was like eight million pages back, but this guy is a friend of mine, and he has since made a custom, one-off compound turbo kit for his car. The only way I think he can go faster is if he puts a gravity well generator on the front of his car, and rides the ripple in space/time. When he hammers on the throttle you get instant tunnel vision. Sometimes, people put their heart and soul into something, and his Streetfighter is no exception.

Though this was pretty good.![]() ![]() This guy was caught near me after he ran a red light while drink driving, possessing a controlled weapon, driving without a licence and driving an unreg/unroadworthy vehicle in peak hour traffic. With a battery in the passenger seat powering the car.

-Spiffy- posted:English Russia could probably have its own thread dedicated, but here is a typical Train Commute for Russians: Back when I was like 6, my parents and I along with some family friends went on a kayaking trip. The final passenger train stop was some serious kms away from the river so we bribed the engineer of a freight train to let us hitch a ride on an unused flatbed. And then we had to jump off (well, I got thrown off) a slow-moving freight train since he couldn't stop. I got the whooping cough after that trip. That sucked. redscare fucked around with this message at May 13, 2009 around 20:15 |

when I was a kid (in the early 80's) some of my friends' older brothers used to regularly hop the freight trains out of town to the surrounding cities (in Iowa). Being 9 or whatever I always thought this was pretty cool/hobotastic/insane. Eventually a girl trying this got run over by a train and lost both her arms to the elbow though, and I think that kind of ended the concept of this being a good idea.
