![]() Click here for the full 909x1500 image. Ok it's not "kickass" in the sense of sharks and chainsaws or whatever, but I love it anyway. Goon made. Was posted in the "Post Your Art" thread in CC. I stupidly didn't save the poster's name to the file. ![]() Oh man I have to include this too: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...en_delights.jpg Wikipedia MAJORLY updated their picture of Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights. It's gigantic and you can see every single ridiculous detail and scene in it. Direct linking because I don't know of an image uploader that maintains the size of images that huge. Just thought of this: returning to the Halo theme, the 'Believe' commercial for Halo 3 featured an amazing diorama that surely qualifies as "kickass art". The amount of work that went into it was staggering. This one is from Damien Hirst iirc, titled Armageddon. I haven't seen much else of his work, but I always loved this one. Close Up: ![]() Full View: ![]() It's made entirely out of dead flies. Not joking, and the best part is that as it travels from gallery to gallery a few of the flies will drop off (as you might be able to see in the second picture). So everywhere it goes it leaves a little bit of itself behind.
