I've mentioned this before, but I really think that Sal made this and sent it in before he was on the show:

SUCK A MALE CAMEL'S DICK WITH MIRACLE WHIP!!
Do you guys think Howard would ever try to release a "music of the stern show" album?
He's had hundreds of musical guests over the years, they all seem to perform at least one song. I kinda think it'd be neat if he were to, obviously with permission from the artist/copyright holder, release an album with songs performed on the show, and each artist involved, and Howard gets a cut that they donate to whatever charity they pick. Like Howard would obviously give everything to the North Shore Animal League, Artist X donates their cut to Charity Y and so on.

I feel like something like that would sell pretty good, or get lots of downloads or whatever the gently caress, and those involved, the atrists etc would get some good publicity from having a bunch of money donated to whatever in their name and they wouldn't even have to do poo poo.

How do you do, fellow Regis?

wesleywillis posted:

Not a chance. Getting permission for a whole album's worth would likely be impossible (at least for the performances anyone would care about.)

Even if he could get the permission - no one buys CDs or albums anymore and likely wouldn't make much through downloads either.

(Then again, the songs would be on high bandwidth, while the songs you hear on YouTube are low bandwidth)

There is more money to be made by selling the rights to Sirius for streaming after he retires rather than as a CD. Sirius could start Howard 102 and do just musical guests and performances if they wanted.

Just listened to "friend of the family Claus" and I'm almost certain it's not Sal. I mean the "humor" is definitely in his wheelhouse, just doesn't sound like his voice.

Fred had great drop that Howard missed on Tuesday during the news. Robin asked if Howard had seen "Crazy Rich Asians" and for a quick second in the background there was the sound of Yoko Ono screaming...

I'm listening so far, haven't gotten to the interview, but there has been some really great Memet and Ralph interactions, and an insane Angry Political Guy Phoney Phone Call.

E: will update when I hear the interview.

Howard and Ralph just took a big poo poo on J. D.'s wedding pictures/vows. And here's Paul! Howard is hyperactive, he's already hit a songwriting question while asking him about Paul's father. Paul just did a nutty French accent. Michelle wrote french lyrics? Howard attacked Paul over "Too Many People." Paul took a poo poo over how Americans write. Howard continues to be a great interviewer/therapist.

Without typing too many more word, the interview is totally solid, and I'm hoping they'll play previous interviews on 101.

I think it was 10 Graaaaaaaand on internet porn in general but she, at the time, was the one he was focusing one.

Remember that Richard used to pour out a glass of wine for whatever porn star he was cranking it out to on his computer.

JD was on the cutting edge of paying camwhores. It's pretty well known and common now, but he was doing it back 10+ years ago in the wild west days of camwhoring. I remember Howard being shocked at the existence of chicks who will put peanut butter on their pussies for money on the internet.

I don’t know how much he makes now but it was especially incredible the amount of money he spent on porn when he was making almost nothing on the Stern show.

He was pretty delusional with women, too, like to the point where he legitimately thought he might have a chance to date Ashley Dupre, or when he gave that secretary at SIRIUS (who was apparently a 9 or 10 out of 10) his phone number and tried to say he was just joking around.
