Got tickets for the Blackpool show, £33 for balcony seats, pretty good price. There were floor tickets available for £55, but the more expensive ones (Over £100 each) had gone, so I think I made the right choice. Hopefully I'll get to see some of the bigger names.

That's pretty crazy, maybe with 3 of the 4 horsewomen moving up, they know that the rest of the division will need time to get to that level and so they don't care about Kana's age if she can be an immediate challenger to the title.

Kana being signed is gonna be insane. I can't imagine her style meshing well with most of the girls, esp the rookies. She's gonna have to really tone it down. Although, Athena vs Kana in NXT will be really fun.

Since Bayley is pretty much Sami Zayn I'm kinda expecting Kana to immediately destroy her for the title.  And then I guess forever sit on a throne made from the skulls of her challengers because once Bayley's gone to the main roster you've got no more believable threats.

Did anyone else think the commentary on this episode was 1000% better than it usually is? Like I knew Saxton was the weakest part of the team but it even seemed like Graves and Rich were enjoying it more without him there to ruin it.

I feel like NXT is sort of the best case scenario for a commentator - No Vince screaming in your ear - Simple storylines, easy to describe - No Vince screaming in your ear - Pretaped (other than TakeOver) so you can fix some things in post - No Vince screaming in your ear Byron's definitely the weakest of the commentators, but I thought he did well enough on TakeOver. He's never as egregiously annoying as Cole/JBL/King at their worst. I figure Graves/Rich were just having more fun on the taping due to the fairly long matches and a super-hot crowd, but in a low stress environment where they knew they could fix errors in post and didn't have to get any major angles over. I'd be happy if Graves got called up to Raw, he's by far my favorite commentator right now (though I still miss Jason Albert and Renee Young from back when I started watching )

I really think Rich benefitted a lot from the two-man desk. He has a better rapport with Graves and not having Saxton there meant he could actually get a word in outside of calling the occasional move.

I actually think Graves has been leaning into the JBL-style "NO EVERYTHING SUCKS AND YOU'RE WRONG BECAUSE YES" arguments way too hard. I was gonna make a note of this a couple of weeks ago and then I forgot. He was a lot better in Takeover, no Saxton lead to less dumb arguments and he actually bounces off Rich a lot better anyway.

Trust NXT tickets to go on sale just when I'm down £200 on my paycheque and need to buy a new car, probably going to have to settle for cheap tickets. If only it was like Punk/Metal shows where you pay one price then fight your way to a good viewing position.
