I just backed Faeria since it looks quite cool, and I got some extra cash to waste on KS. Now this might be a question of galloping retardedness, but uh, is Huniepop actually going to be a soft porn/porn game? There's uncountable amounts of nudging/winking and about a billion straightforward hentai things like love pillows - which might be half ironic or completely serious. I realize they're not going to state things outright because KS is, well, peculiar in what they allow and won't allow, but at this point I'm just genuinely curious. Yeah, I read it in junior college back in...2002? I started at the beginning where it was a fairly amusing (for the time at least) gag comic about video game culture and Japan. Then the other guy left and it became Piro's angsty dating sim project and apparently that hasn't stopped.

SCALE is sitting at about 65% funding currently, and they posted a really interesting art update. For someone who is a complete 3d Modelling layman, it was a pretty interesting watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1TKzUv3VLI&hd=1 Also Knite & The Ghost Lights might have completed their funding period but they posted a Halloween Update with some goodies.   e:  Rimworld has 28 Hours Until Funding Ends! He's already miles beyond his initial goal, and over the past 3 days his total funding has jumped another $50,000 CAD to $236,000. No update yet about any last 24 hour spree or such, but I imagine he's probably just blown away by the amount of funding he has managed to secure without promising explicit stretch goals as it is. I really hope people take a look at his approach when considering their own projects going forward, because feature creep can be a real problem. Eh, while certainly Piro's characters are more distinctive, and he CAN do nice backgrounds if he puts in the work...I'm not really seeing how that equals more polished. That dating sim may be a polished turd, but Megatokyo is a perhaps slightly smaller, but entirely unpolished turd in comparison. Also I'm not sure 'dishonest porn' is really a fair assessment of that game. I mean yeah, it obviously pretends to not be porn while, if not being outright explicit, is intending to serve the same purpose. But I don't think it's the backers they're trying to kid (nor that they themselves think it's anything but smut), rather Kickstarter to avoid getting banned, and media so they can advertise more.
