Some bits so I can fool around with getting Echo to control my fireplace. The Pi is overkill, but I figured it would be easier to get started with than an Arduino.

That one was eBay, I've gotten most from antique stores, but also antique shows. When I get a bit more money to spend on a pointless collection then estate sales can be a great place too.

Nice! I really like that Flora board, it's great to work with. Are those the neopixel LEDs or the matrix ones? I've never done anything with the matrix style but the Neopixels are also great to work with.

Just a plain old black t-shirt, I just uploaded the logo to teepublic. Came out to $20 with shipping so even if it looks bad I'm not out a lot of money (unlike the fake Vetements hoodie coming from China that cost me $50...just hit the US shores on Friday, should have it by next week!)

I like the look but I'm poor as a motherfucker. Besides, where I live, nobody can tell/cares if it's fake. It's literally just for me.

I needed to fix a whole set of through hole headers I hosed up while soldering, since they aren't making a very good connection to the pcb. So, I caved and bought an aoyue rework station and some solder paste to try the joint again.

Hoping this tool will also be useful for heat shrink tubing and melting adhesive backing holding on certain device screens.

I bought a replacement battery for my Thinkpad from them last year. I recognize they probably don't use brand new cells but only getting 60% advertised capacity is unacceptable.

They sent me a warranty replacement that had similar issues.
