Shortly after Bambi reached adolescence (in other words, after the events of Bambi II) he was taken by his father to another part of the forest to train. He would not return until he was old enough to fend for himself. Faline was devastated over Bambi’s departure, but understood that Bambi had certain duties as a prince. Though Thumper and Flower kept Faline company, the young doe was still saddened. This left her vulnerable to Ronno, who still wanted Faline for himself. He tried sweet-talking her and attempted to convince Faline that Bambi wasn’t coming back and that she should forget about him. But Faline politely declined (even though she wanted to strangle him half the time) and both Thumper and Flower did a decent job of keeping the persistent fawn from bothering her.

Things changed when Faline’s spots disappeared-which signified that she was an adult. At the same time, Ronno was also maturing. Now stronger and more aggressive, Ronno relentlessly harassed Faline and pressured her to become his mate. It came to the point where Thumper and Flower could no longer protect Faline due to their small size.

Once Ronno reached adulthood and sported his second set of antlers, he brutally attacked Faline and forced her into his den. For many months, Faline wasn’t allowed to leave unless granted permission.

Then Hemlock was born. Ronno was pleased to see that the child was male. But Hemlock caught a disease that messed with his development and ultimately prevented his antlers from growing. Hemlock recovered and everything seemed normal-until he lost his spots. Ronno was rather confused to see that his son's spots had vanished, but no antlers had grown. After learning from an older deer that it was the disease that permanently stopped Hemlock's antler growth, Ronno became enraged and took it out on Faline. Hemlock's relationship with his father then shattered. Ronno wanted nothing more to do with his son-dubbing him an embarrassment-while Hemlock wanted nothing to do with his father.

Bambi eventually returned and reunited with Faline. He defeated Ronno in a fight and the abusive buck was never to be seen again. Bambi later discovered Hemlock and took him in as his own son. Despite never growing antlers or becoming the stag his original father had wanted him to be, Hemlock had finally gained a family and was content.

Cassius’s Beginning:

When young Cassius was born to Lucky and Two-Tone, he was just another abomination brought into this world. Impatient to see, Cassius attempted to open his undeveloped eyes by digging his claws into the sockets. This permanently blinded him. Upset over his self-inflicted disability, Cassius distanced himself from his siblings and learned to hate his parents. When Cassius was only three months old, his owners, Roger and Anita decided to euthanize him due to his abnormally violent behavior. Cassius managed to escape his death sentence by attacking the veterinarian. Instead of returning to Dearly Farm, Cassius retreated to the forest, where he spent the next five years training to become stronger than before. Once the five years had passed, Cassius would finally return to Dearly Farm and finish what has been started.

-----------------

The Future:

Learning of Cruella, Cassius made an under-the-table deal with her. In exchange for all the Dalmatians on Dearly Farm, Cruella would give him the property, as she was more interesting in thousands of spotted pelts (101 Dalmations + their mates + their children). Cassius helped Cruella, Horace and Jasper round up all of the Dalmatians and forced them into kennels. Roger and Anita were forced to leave. But Cassius had other things on his mind. In the dead of the night, Cassius made an offer to the imprisoned Dalmatians: Join him or die at the hands of Cruella. Most refused his offer and ended up slaughtered by Cruella. Some agreed, but when Cassius released them, they turned on the blind dog. Cassius easily tore them apart with this trusty scythe and devoured the remains. Fearing both Cassius and Cruella, a handful of dogs agreed to serve them. But in order to prevent a rebellion, Cassius removed their tongues with his weapon. Illiterate and unable to speak, his followers could not plan a mutiny and became Cassius’s mindless servants.

Once Cassius gathered enough followers, he ambushed Cruella and brutally killed her. Traumatized, Horace and Jasper ran for the hills, never to return. Cassius made the surviving Dalmatians (the ones who originally refused to serve him) his slaves. For several years, Cassius ruled Dearly Farm with an iron fist. But Cassius was not satisfied for he learned a few Dalmatians had escaped, Lucky, Two-Tone, Rebecca, Wizzer, Dipstick, Patch, Rolly, Tripod, and Cadpig. Cassius sent many of his minions to track them down and kill them instantly.

Little did Cassius know, they were all scattered (Ever since they learned of Lucky and Two-Tone’s litter, their siblings distanced themselves due to the drama involved). But Tripod heard of Cassius’s reign of terror and was determined to stop Cassius once and for all. Tripod ran across the country, searching for his surviving siblings and passed on the tale. Many were reluctant at first and wanted to forget the past. But in the end, all but Two-Tone (she was the only one who refused to help) gathered together and made a plan to eliminate Cassius.

Long story short, the siblings managed to kill all of Cassius’s followers. They thought with only Cassius left, the blind dog was fair game. They were wrong. After killing Wizzer and Cadpig, an elderly Lucky couldn’t stand the idea of his siblings suffering for his mistake and offered to fight Cassius one on one, winner takes control of Dearly Farm. Intrigued, Cassius agreed. Tripod, Rolly, Patch, Rebecca, and Dipstick watched in horror as Cassius sliced Lucky’s throat with the scythe. Dying, Lucky made one final attempt to atone for his mistake and grabbed Cassius’s weapon. For the first time in his life, Cassius was afraid. Lucky wasted no time and beheaded his son. Both dogs fell down dead.

After burying Lucky and Cassius, the remaining siblings separated, determined to rebuild that’s left of their lives.

The End.

Why does a dog have a scythe? How does he negotiate and own property? How does a self-mutilated blind puppy do all this? But most of all, who writes this kind of fanfiction for something like "101 Dalmations"?!?

Here's something lighter but still brain-hurting:

While it can be ridiculously gory, given the other half of the source material, is it that surprising? Fallout: Equestria is one of the best pieces of literature I have ever read, EVER. It is amazingly written, has awesome, well-rounded characters, and plumbs extreme moral depths.

In the fallout series, there is a game mechanic devoted entirely to showing dismemberment/death in the most graphic way possible. One may choose an enemies body part and attempt to blow/cut it off. if they succeed, it is shown being violently severed in slow-motion.

in various fallout games, one can:

Interact with the civitzens of a small but thriving village (including children) only to nuke them 10 minutes later in exchange for a hotel room.

Ransack an old womans cottage and then blow her head off( taking time to watch it go flying into a nearby river).

Waltz onto the Vegas strip with and assault carbine and start mowing down hookers.

What i'm saying is that Fallout is a very VERY violent franchise and that one should generally expect related fan-fiction to be equally violent...as for the sexual aspect of the fandom, Who gives a gently caress. Every fandom has porn and you know what, that's ok, it harms no one and makes some people happy.

@dw, how was he raging? He was calmly talking about it and decided to build upon his previous posts.

Humor generally means making jokes, the way cracked does it generally is penis jokes, affectionate prodding(see the amazing movie crossovers) and generally celebrating the series mentioned.

You do realize that the article opens up by calling us sociopaths who should be registered then goes downhill from there(never saw cracked so harsh on any internet fandom). Then we are automaticly accused of being manchildren, autistic(retarded mostly), are immature because of the show we like, should die a terrible death, obviously jerk off to ponies because some members of the fandom do etc.. I've seen fascist who get less vitrol thrown at them(certainly not at the mention of their existance).

Why don't you stop trying to poke and prod at a group you evidently have little to no understanding of and get off the high and mighty pedestal to actually *talk* to us, it'd be easier to help you get over your misinformation.

Later

Rumor mill destruction time!
Are bronies all obsessed with my little pony? No we're not, some are, but every fandom has that small vocal minority and they are one of ours.

Do we all jerk off to ponies? No we don't. That's a relatively small if vocal part of the community and it gets alot of attention. Bronies in general do not have unified opinions because we are not a hive mind.

Are we anti-social manchildren? Slightly more introverted(we did some large scale surveys they should be lying around the internet and definately on equestria daily). The gender split is roughly 60% male and 40% female.

what is a brony? anyone who watches the show and is a part of the community is generally accepted as being a brony(once again, not unified opinion but the most popular one). Yes, girls can and are considered bronies(some go by pegasister instead, we aren't good at reaching consensus).

We generally just like/love/havefanaticdevotiontotheshow because we think it's a good show with a good community and ernestly enjoy it even if we weren't the targetted demographic.

Are we all autistic and or homosexuals? No.

Are we unified in our opinions? No.

Why do some people shove it down your throats? Because they are obnoxious jerks and will be regardless if they are a part of the fandom. *most* of us aren't like that and we're genuinly sorry to have them running around.

Why do we go around yelling "Love and Tolerate!"? Honestly, I don't know where it began but it's kind of the unofficial fandom motto. We for the most part try and be polite, helpfull, friendly and informative. Of course if we don't we get pegged for it quickly.

Why do we obssess over the gender issues stuff? Honestly, it gets annoying to see "It's for little girls" over and over yet you almost never see the reverse used(it's fine to watch transformers or doctor who regardless of whether you're a male, female, adult or child).

Do we have unified opinions? No...we're a massive group of and it would be rather odd if we could get everyone to agree on anything in a group this large.

Are we going to conquer the world? Eh...we would probably settle for the western hemisphere. Once again, we don't have united opinions and as such would be more of a loose federation of brony states and armies in this scenario.

Am I ranting? Why yes, yes I am. I hope this helped dispell some rumors of the fandom.

Why am I reposting this? Because it got buried and I thought it was clever/wanted to see if people would discuss it a bit this time.

ThomasFordConyers posted:

"Yes it opens that way. In jest."

I really wish people would stop using the "it's a humor site!" thing as a get out of jail free card. Humor doesn't mean "it's all hot air and means nothing". In order for there to be humor, there has to be a ridiculous element. A punchline. What's the punchline here? If the joke was essentially "isn't that a silly thing to suggest that people are sociopaths for liking this show?" I would be on board. But it never comes around to anything even resembling that. It may be intended as hyporbole, but the basic message remains: liking a little girls' show as an adult male makes you a terrible person.

The tl;dr version: There's a difference between someone laughing WITH you and someoe laughing AT you.

bluegrey +2 posted:

What an innocent and disappointing article. First of all it's incorrect in a number of things, second they haven't even scratched the surface of of bad it is in these corners of the fandom.

First problem is "by grown men". Kkat, the Fallout Equestria writer, is actually female. As are I believe at least two of the furry artists responsible for Hoofbeat. And Kkat was apparently into some weird stuff before ponies became a thing. Two words for you that will make any amount of post apocalyptic pony rape seem less bizarre: Ewok porn. Let that sink in Cracked people.

Then we can bring up that both those two of your four are in more rooted in furrydom than anything. Hoofbeat is fairly tame depending on your opinions of "weird porn and fetishes", but a large number of bronies who are somehow turned on by cartoon ponies, have claimed to not actually like "anthro" or other "furry art" pieces, or at the very least, they are not fans of it. They prefer their cartoon ponies as is and don't want filthy furry 'hands' on their characters. I mean who would right? what a bunch of casuals! Yeah...

You then get into the disconnect between bronies (the ones who watch for the plot or for the 'plot' alike) and furrydom. Apparently, as with every other group on the internet, when bronies began appearing in the furry corners of the internet, they generated a decent amount of hate from people who didn't understand the appeal. The way it seems to go with this show is that those who get it, get it, and those who don't, cannot imagine why on earth these people are so obsessed with a flash cartoon about ponies meant for little girls. Seriously, wtf! What are you, gay? What's wrong with the world!

I've heard from some furries before that Hoofbeat is no different from a number of other furry comics made to be sold overpriced at cons for desperate individuals 'interested' in their 'stories'. Meanwhile, there is so very much porn about ponies out there that you would not believe and don't want to know about, that makes Hoofbeat, and now Hoofbeat 2, look as tame as searching "girls kissing" on youtube. Take for example a popular character that so many tumblr pony artists have been jumping on the bandwagon for, one you might not want to know about if anything in this article has already disturbed you. Go ahead and find yourself a brony image site, turn off those sfw filters, and search "Milky Way".

Now let's get into how much worse Fallout Equestria gets. Strangely enough, this piece of fanfiction has spawned its own little fandom, complete with more spinoff stories and art than you could think possible. Some stories are even longer than the original, strange as that is with the original being longer than War and Peace. One in particular is known for not only being over twice as long, but still unfinished and ongoing. It's supposedly darker and edgier too, with enough extra and unnecessary death, violence, and angst to remind you of your rebellious teenage years sneaking into R rated slasher films. Even if you never did that.

Then let's get to the last two of the four. Honestly, those are pathetic additions to the list. Food fetish? please, there are people into that weird rear end fetish as a spinoff of just about any group. An innocent browser of DeviantArt typing in the wrong search options can find themselves learning just how many fetishes have been applied to their most favorite cartoon characters that even google might not mention. No matter how many kinks you think you might have, there's always something worse. Rule 34 of the internet should not surprise anyone, but it still will surprise everyone.

And lastly Rainbow Factory is nowhere near as bad as it gets. It's one of those horribly written things that people link to friends to see their reaction. A similar example from this particular fandom would be Cupcakes. I remember a guy reading it out loud on a tf2 server for the reactions it got. There is likely worse than this or that. I can guarantee there is worse. Hell, the fallout pony stuff is known for being worse in terms of violence and horror. Both of those fnafics are also parodied to death, notably by a certain youtube series called Rainbow Dash Presents, known for turning overrated bad fanfiction on its head and making fun of the premise in creative ways and with horrible singing.

Really this is a shallow article that has hardly researched the topic. No one who knows very much at all about internet culture outside of reddit's front page would likely find more than two of these four examples noteworthy or at all bizarre. Come on Cracked, you've seen how far the rabbit hole goes, don't be this light.

This one is 200 words longer than the actual article.
