I just really wanted a new decent photoshop thread, and though this concept may have been done before in some form or another, it was all that came to mind this morning. So I grabbed this Giger piece: and made it happy ... sort of: So, you do the same, find some art that depicts misery, and turn it positive.

I wonder if this thread can stay alive as long as it is going to take to complete Hieronymous Bosch's "Theme Park of Earthly Delights" or if I should look for a simpler idea. It would take days to do it right and I won't be able to start until the weekend. :(

^^^^^^Look no further! This painting, done by my grandfather in the 1920s/30s or something, is probably the most pessimistic artwork I've ever seen. http://imageshack.us/files/sadpainting.jpg Somebody needs to turn this resonating statement of Depression-era despair into comedy gold. I am currently stuck for ideas. Somebody have a go at it. butts

This illustrates why I gave up on photoshop phriday...lack of skill. Wanted to use garden of earthly delights but couldn't get my idea to work, so... the original is Bosch' Christ Mocked, but I prefer it as Christ Toked.
