I love this movie. It has a sister movie if you will, Gamle mænd i nye biler (old men in new cars) that's just as funny. The movies are a perfect combination of crime and comedy, taking place in Denmark in modern times.

I don't understand much Danish, but there are English subtitles.

The movie is just downright entertaining with all types of comedy from slapstick, to verbal brilliance, to general stupidity, you name it! It's all good.

4/5

PROS: Hillarious, Danish
CONS: Probably can't buy it in the US

I sort of disagree. It has its moments but gets frustrating after like half an hour. The plot, the scenes, the comedy all evolve around the same recipe which you will be able to recognize quickly. The screen writer responsible, Anders Thomas Jensen (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0421314/), is talented though and has won two Oscars for shorter movies.
The third movie hss just been released in Denmark and is written by dierctor Lasse Spang Olsen. Apparently people leave the cinema realizing that Anders Thomas Jensen represented every bit of talent involved in I Kina Spiser De Hunde.

If you reaaly want a cheap laugh in this category, Blinkende Lygter / Flickering Lights (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0236027/) is far superior.
By the same writer and lightyears ahead is Dogme # 3, Mifunes Last Song (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0164756/). A must see.
