Resurrecting this one as I just bought the DVD today as soon as it came out, and have just finished watching it. Ok so it's not as good as the first one (which was, quite frankly, a masterpiece.) However it's not a bad film at all. There's lots of action, lots of blood and gore, and the social satire is really quite brilliant, what with the references to 9/11 and the Normandy beach landings. I didnt start to switch off at any point either. The only gripe was that as the movie moved at such speed, it became near impossible to track exactly who had been killed, and sometimes even how they were killed. Having said that, the tagline for BRII is "This time, It's War" and that's just how this movie plays out. I will be watching it again and would recommend it to anyone who's seen the first one, however I dont think the original can possibly be surpassed. 3.5/5
