Directed by: Frank Darabont Starring: Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan Stylistically, this is similar to Shawshank. The ways it's good are pretty much the same way Shawshank is good. However, the characters, plot, and acting aren't up to Shawshank's world-beating standards... and if you didn't even like Shawshank, well, go elsewhere. Recommended, but don't watch it when you're tired, because it is on the dull side at parts. Stephen King wins again!
