Directed by: Angela Robinson
Starring: Lindsay Lohan, Matt Dillon, Michael Keaton, Herbie

Eh, no point in over reviewing this thing. Herbie: Fully Loaded is a fun completely safe G rated film that brings to mind the classic Disnehy live action films of the 70s like the Kurt Russell Dexter Riley films, That Darn Cat, and other sanitary fun flicks. Matt Dillon is a lot of fun and is the shining actor in this production. What a great comedic actor he is.

Michael Keaton pretty much just does his trademark grimacings and walks through the role as Lohan's father.

It's nice to see a movie you can bring your little kids to that's actually rated G, and doesn't have token profanity or questionable content just to throw a PG on it. Lohan's charming enough to carry the film. Much has been made about her breasts being digitally reduced so as not to offend the young kids that don't like to see cleavage, but if that's the only reason you were going to see this film, you've got bigger problems in life to worry about.

The CGI enhanced Herbie is extra expressive, and there's some genuine laughs with his wacky antics. The kids in the audience really liked him and were laughing about it as they left the theater, so I suppose that's all that matters if you just want to enjoy a safe summer flick with the kids.

If you've got a kid, or younger brother or sister, you could do a lot worse than this movie.

It doesn't aim very high, but succeeds at being at least entertaining and forgettable.

RATING: 3

PROS: Good solid movie to bring a kid to
CONS: If you're over 15 this movie just isn't for you
