I was blown away by the special effects, especially during the beginning of the invasion. The cinematography was also fantastic. Spielberg does a great job of really engaging you in the action. I thought Tom Cruise was pretty good. There was nothing special about his role and he seemed to have it down pat. Dakota was good, but I really disliked her character. In retrospect, Rachel Ferrier didn't really have any redeeming qualities. It was worth the $9.25 and recommend it. 4/5
