Directed by: Arlene Sanford
Starring: Shelley Long, Gary Cole and a lot of cameos

After watching this on TV recently (In widescreen, uncut with no ads), I came to remember it and appreciate it more. In my opinion it's better than the original movie, and far better than the original show. I never liked The Brady Bunch, I found it to be corny, horribly unrealistic and incredibly irritating. This didn't stop me from watching it for some reason.

Perhaps thats the reason why I'm one of the rare people who like it. It has heaps of references from the original show, and adds a good dose of incest, swearing and plenty of homosexual jokes. The well placed references to other TV shows of that era, including "I Dream of Jeannie" and "Gilligans Island" are hilarious, and the surrealistic drug trip in the middle of the movie pays homage to a short lived TV spinoff "The Brady Kids".

I love it.

RATING: 5

PROS: Rather edgy humor, an excellent parody and tribute to 60/s70s TV shows
CONS: Fans of the original show may be offended by the racy content
