Dan Millen's SuperStreet Outlaw Mustang This is pretty much the wildest and most dangerous and eventful drag racing class in the world. The class rules are left open save for a turbo size resitriction (usually no larger than 100mm) and the important thing, the rear tires cannot be any larger than 10.5" wide (They're usually 31x10.5w size, which is about 12 inches wide at the tread, Some sanctions use the 28x10.5" tread tire, other sanctions use the slightly larger W tire). The drivers or crew chief will usually hand pick each tire, and they get 1 - 3 runs out of a set of tires, which cost around $300 each. To get one of these cars down the track without crashing or spinning is very difficult. On the small tire, the cars are running low low 7's. With the slightly larger W tire, the cars are running high 6's. Dan's car competes at the FunFord weekend events and makes somewhere around 2400 - 2800 horsepower.
