I'm going to Eastern States Weekend at the Orange County Fair Speedway today, the oldest race for dirt track modifieds in the world at the oldest continuously operating dirt oval in the world. I'm highly autistic when it comes to this particular form of motorsport, so here's the highlights from two weeks ago at the most prestigious modified race of the year on the big mile at Syracuse. This is a very 90's TV broadcast of the 1998 small block race at OCFS Dirt oval racing owns and the modifieds particular to New York and the surrounding area is the best form of it, gently caress the haters

Have been considering getting the fat wookie an intake largely for sound. AI..what do you think? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QRWrdmZ5MI I'm also really curious how a dyno can measure accurately with a CVT.

That intake looks pretty lovely- sharp transition to and from the maf housing, which likely results in a funky afr curve and possibly a lean condition. The k&n is a lot nicer (and I sell them). Anyhow, here's some more rotary content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIwq71KZqbA jamal fucked around with this message at 06:54 on Oct 29, 2014 |

Is that the official nascar channel that puts those videos up for *drama*? If so, that's hilarious. I watch nascar when I can't sleep sometimes (It's often on at 2-6AM), so maybe you can help with telling me what happenened in the end with 5 (I think Kasey Kahne?) and 55 a week or so a ago, kept taking each other out during a race. Constant yellow flags and the terrible ad breaks it causes annoyed the gently caress out of me, you can just imagine how bad the ads are at that time of night... If nothing happened (between drivers or by nascar regs flagging them), that would be a shame, they need to suffer for the ads they subjected me to.

It was a short track, which basically means speeds are slow enough to wreck people that get you mad. It's the charm of short track racing, only this shouldn't apply to multi-millionaires. It's really only a thing that's excusable at a local track with two hobbyists who spend their garbageman money on racecars. Also, of course NASCAR promotes it, just like they promote the big crashes at the superspeedways. It plays to idiots right up until someone gets killed.

He will, that was the official first press viewing which was why it was delayed a day. They've done similar things in the past. It's probably not approved for street use yet. Hearing it was enough for me (for now)

First and last bit are the first chicane at Monza. 200+mph entering shot, 60mph for the corner. It's like someone is messing with the video speed.

Cool video. We use RZR's at work and they are pretty terrific machines. I don't think I've ever been able to get one stuck doing anything that wasn't entirely my fault. This is when the optional winch saves your rear end easily. The power plant and drive-train seem to be pretty bulletproof. If I could nitpick briefly in the video thread, they are plagued with electrical issues and the build quality isn't the greatest. I have broken welds, doors, switches and things like that. They are also entirely too loud and when you are in them all day you get pretty drained just from the constant drone. It has a stereo but forget trying to listen to it if you have any throttle input whatsoever. The doors also do absolutely nothing to stop dirt/dust so your better off just taking them off right from the start. The heater also doesn't work all that great but at least its there. The four seater is really nice if you have to carry 4 people or some equipment off the beaten track. Pretty cool machines but they are basically toys and I found once the shininess wore off, I usually just use an ATV.
