The combo is a stroked Ford mod motor (4.6L to 5L), with oliver billet rods, ported heads, custom billet turbo cams, a FAST engine management system, 91mm turbo, glide, stock type suspension, and full frame rails. drat impressive for a 3,250 pound car.

The center pipe is connected too two exhaust ports, they dump down one pipe.

Yeah, that's why I posted the little quip about the wierd exhaust setup. If you want a more recent example, look up the Subaru ER27, last seen in the Subaru XT6. They added a pair of cylinders on, but rather than adding an exhaust tube, they just siamesed the last two cylinder's exhaust ports.

Can't afford a full sized tractor with 4 jet engines? How about something a bit ... more twee.

It looks a little like the dyno for a supra that got posted a while back, where massive wheelspin caused the graph to do a little loop.

220whp out of a 3.6L engine doesn't seem all that high, considering it's a 2 stroke, but then again, 360lb-ft tq probably makes for an interesting day at the beach.

Yeah, my guess is that 360lf-ft tq is more than enough to drag yourself and that rail up a dune, and I highly doubt those skinny little tires will put down much more power to the ground.

Then again, it does seem to be an awfully low amount of power for such an engine.

Keep in mind that that v8 is an outboard boat engine made by Envinrude. It's rated at 250hp from the factory, so I'd say they're doing pretty good.
