Victory Auto Wreckers--any Chicagoans will know this one by heart.
Holy cow. There's an unexpected trip down memory lane.
Chicagoans have been watching that guy's door fall off for 20 years.
WFLD 32 before it became a fox affiliate, "What's Happenin'" on prime time, and completely without any irony, and I must have been 4 years old when I started watching 'Mork and Mindy'...
They changed the sound a bit in this version:
Eagleman is a hero of the people!

Building an E46 from scratch:
I was going to head off somewhere but I had to sit through this film.
Thanks for this. I want one now, but that's the same as saying 'I'd like a raise'.
They're showing off their robots. There's a robot to install the spare tire.

^^ I've only been driving stick for three months. Among the first things I learned was to TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE GAS WHEN SHIFTING.
Of course that's a minor sin compared to taking blind corners at 120MPH with oncoming traffic on a narrow two lane public road.
All it takes is one guy at the wrong moment to be passing in the oncoming lane and they'll be burying him in an urn.
I got that vid from this very thread, so it's made a lap from GBS to back here. but it's all good.
This was posted in the "Amazing facts or photos of SCIENCE" thread in GBS, but might be of interest here:
Any more factory vids?

What happens when you put the world whiniest car journalist into the world worst car?
Yes, It's Clarkson in a Yugo! And yes, he 'punishes' it. The first 3 minutes are fine.
After Top Gear's re-rise to popularity and Youtube, some must be dredging up old VHS tapes out of closets and attics.

In 1991 BMW E36 drivers in Berlin could be seen driving along side this jewel of East German engineering: The Trabant!

2 wheeler Trabi fun
Sometimes someone will say that a car's top speed is what's marked on the speedo.
Usually they're wrong. This time they're right.

Don't forget the Superduke ad
That's one ad that's not going to be broadcast.
"Professional driver. Closed course. Always wear your helmet. Don't do this. Or this. Or this. Hope you're wearing full leathers when you do this. "

This is the reason why I don't like to be in large confined crowds. Understandably NYC is a little sensitive to terrorism.
BMW overheats outside of an Americas Next Top Model audition and someone starts yelling its a bomb. Everyone flips. I knew BMW cooling systems are a pain in the rear end but this is unreal.
Oh hey, it's a model audition. Mostly dolled up women in that crowd.
Hardly model behavior
Who pays the station's bills?

I saw the video on all the major news networks and did not once hear about the overheating car. Knowing it was all caused by a shotty BMW cooling system makes it hilarious.
Not youtube, but still a vid.
Some talk about the engineering that went into the Camaro.

I keep meaning to track this movie down.
Can anyone tell me which car is involved in this high speed chase?

Hah, that's kinda creepy.
you fall through a hole in reality and watch the world as you knew it fly away like so much dust
And you'll find yourself in a hastily assembled fascimile of the American Midwest, staring at what can only be GOD'S SUBARU.
