Ever see that thing where they get a very long sheet of plasic on a hill and cover it in water and you slide down it, and it's very fun? I've come off my motorbike like that and as long as you have good leathers and don't start having an "impacting roll" (resulting in limbs being broken) or get ran over, it can almost be fun, if not for the OH poo poo factor. They should judge involuntary dismounts for distance/style/landing points.

My new graphics card came with a whole bunch of extra cables so I'm gonna see if I can plug my PS2 into my PC and use fraps to get a better quality version, with the full 6:16. The GT4 version of Nurburgring is so drat bumpy, it's hard to follow the racing line because your entire car can jump sideways several feet at any given time. You just gotta kinda strap your self in and hope when you land, you're pointing in a direction that's not heading towards some trees http://youtube.com/watch?v=6v9uMYEAdTw

What's the reason for that rule? You could make a car go 1500 mph but because you didn't do it again in the other direction you won't be classed as the fastest car in the world.

The 'vett couldn't get past with out doing an illegal maneuver. Frustrated with his inability to pass, he purposely rammed the Porsche as he exited the last corner, of the last lap. For this, he was sent to the wall. Maybe it's because I play too much Forza but I hate it when some pubbie purposely crashes into you because they can't win.

-Spiffy- posted:By my account the Porsche had no business winning, theres defensive driving but that was on a whole other level. Being blocked because the slower car in front of you wont let you past is no excuse to cut corners, going flat out full speed in the pit lane. My god what if someone was exiting. Trying to ram someone off the track on the last corner of the last lap out of spite is vastly different from merely trading paint during aggressive overtaking maneuvers. It's good that the 'vette was punished for his actions, but it's equally good that the Porsche was punished for it's retaliation, but he still deserved that hard won 1st place.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The laptimes the GTR is getting is just not possible with it's (relativity) small horsepower and huge weight. I maintain that it's powered by magic and he just doesn't want to admit it. Also is he the guy who told Forza's Turn 10 if they wanted the car, it can't be damaged, roll over, be painted, or have after market mods? [edit] The only thing I can think of that backs up his claim that weight = good, is Top Gears T1 Caparo review. Oh. And if weight = good, why doesn't everyone race SUV's. There's lanesplitting when overtaking parked traffic at some lights at 5mph, and then there's lanesplitting when you're doing 50 mph between 2 cars that are also doing 40mph+. One stops the bike overheating and the other gives me a nice new set of lungs if I ever need them.
