This played on the Disney channel, mid to late 90's. It was a Goonies knock-off about a group of kids who find are obsessed with pirates. One of them has a shirt with a big skull and cross-bones on it. They end up finding a real pirate ship.

If someone can recognize this movie with my vague description, you deserve a medal:

I was watching some t.v show that had upcoming movies or something like that (back around 2000/2001). Anyways, the one preview that grabbed my interest was a horror (I think). All I can remember is some dude is standing in a deserted public washroom and he is facing one of the mirrors over the sink and he's standing against one of the stalls. The mirror starts to pull out and forms a sharp point (think T-1000 and his knife-arm thing) and it keeps coming closer to the man and then it has an up close shot of the point being just an inch or so away from the mans eye. I don't know if this movie is foreign or not but I do remember that the look of the film had a greenish tint to it.

If someone knows what this is, you're awesome.

I've been checking on this thread periodically but there's been no mention of the movie that's been haunting me since I was a wee thing.

We're talking mid- to late eighties, but maybe it was made earlier than that. It was an animated movie and the style was fairly similar to what Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli produces. It was the story of a black manx cat, not a rabbit, and I think he wore a hat. The cat even went so far as to take a little break early on and explain his breed and why he hopped.

I cannot remember what it was called and I don't recall much of the story other than the cat trying to rescue someone or get to a certain specific place. There was a small scene where he has to hop down the interior of a huge, hollow tree.

If anyone has a clue I would be so happy.

This is the closest thing I can think of. I highly doubt it's it though.

Don't know if this fits in this thread since it's not technically a movie, but I am looking for the title to an underground video I saw about five years ago. It was basically an hour compilation of people smoking weed out of huge bongs, a plethora fighting videos, graffiti, skating, and a group of guys in Vegas getting crazy drunk. I know this might be vague and there might be a million underground videos like this, but I haven't been able to find the names of any.

It's kind of like "Indecline Vol. 1: It's worse than you think" except it has nothing to do with homeless people.

Not a movie but if you can find me this sketch you will be a god.

It's a Mr Show sketch. David Cross was in a suit I think at this table, hits the table with his fists, and puts his head down on the table. When he looks back up he has lizard eyes.

Please link me to it on youtube or post the name of the episode/season and I will find it in the complete collection.

Asking again for any idea about a newish (probably no more than 6-8 years old) direct-to-DVD horror movie that features a man and woman (maybe college students) showering together. The man gets killed while the woman's back is turned, and she begins to unknowingly wash herself with his body parts (severed foot, etc.), thinking the body parts are sponges and loofas.

If nobody knows I'll drop it and won't ask again. Thanks.

I also remember some fight between two black girls with riped out chunks of hair and stuff. It clicks mostly because you mention Vegas, and I remember the wide boulevards and west-of-the-mississip feel to it where everything was going down, as opposed to videos from the northeast skaters with all the allyways and stoops and whatnot.

This is a long shot, since I've been rummaging around IMDB for a couple hours.

Some sorta creatures from the sea climb up onto the beach and surprise sex women, impregnating them. The final scene in the movie is one of those women in the delivery room, in labor. But instead of exiting in the normal way, the "child" punches its way out her belly. (And it's obvious it's not a human baby.)

It's not Humanoids from the Deep, and I'm fairly sure it was early to mid 70's and some sort of abortion message might have been a subtext.

I vaguely remember a scene from a movie that will hopefully help identify it. The scene takes place on a space ship of some sort and all the astronauts eat food in pill form or paste form or something similar. One of them gets given a steak for some reason and is the envy of everyone around him, but he isn't happy about the preferential treatment. I remember one of the guys saying something like "Look at the juice!" (regarding the blood in the steak). I also seem to remember it had a predominently orange colour scheme.

...and obviously the setting, so I thought it might be a likely candidate. Darn.

Then I think one of the women sees a lamp made out of skin and knows it is her boyfriends skin because of a tattoo on it or a scar or something and she somehow escapes.

The reason I think it was a television show was because at the end I remember a guy coming in and talking, like Rod Serling does on the Twilight Zone or the Cryptkeeper on Tales from the Crypt.

I'm trying to fin a movie/short TV series but have no idea what it was called or its year of release. I don't know for certain if it made it to the cinema. I remember seeing a review-type thing for it, and from what I remember a modern Britain/England had fallen into some sort of civil war with a North-South divide. During the review a clip was played; a man in jeans and a black jacket was walking briskly along a street in Liverpool with the camera panning alongside him. He was shavng his head with an electric razor as he went. A group of 3 youths come into shot (I remember one of them wearing a baby-blue tracksuit for some reason), and they begin to follow him shouting "Are you a Cockney?! Are you a fucken' Cockney?!" But the man just ignores them and keeps walking.
I really want to see this film/series and have since I saw the review (I was pretty young when it came out (this thing could be 10+ years old), my mum wouldn't let me see it), so if anyone could help me that'd be awesome.

Setting: A horror movie of some sort? from 80ies or early 90ies the latest, budget unknown.

It takes place in a haunted mansion or something. There's a suit of medieval armor that at one point starts moving and walking. The camera was pretty explicit at showing the suit of armor had an erect metal . The armor catches a girl in a nightgown, picks her up in an embrace, and drops her a notch, obviously penetrating her with his metal donge.

The girl screams, and the armor's visor opens, revealing maggots and other disgusting poo poo.

(Then, I believe, it's all revealed to be a dream.)

I'm pretty sure it was a lampshade the boyfriend was turned into. I remember something like the one woman is tied up on the floor and the lamp is next to her or near her and off, and she starts struggling and trying to yell, and one of the kidnappers comes in to see what she's doing, and turns the lamp on. Later when he leaves she notices her boyfriends tattoo on the lampshade and realizes what's happened. At least, I think it was something like that.

I don't think it was the Texas Chainsaw remake because I haven't watched that yet (I actually have the DVD on my shelf, still in shrink-wrap). It wasn't House of 1000 corpses, either. It was earlier than that, like mid to late 90s, I'm thinking.

This is a pretty recent movie but I cannot for the life of me remember the name of it.

PLOT

Some guy gets out of college (maybe) to become a morgue worker where a bunch of weird people who do morgue work work. They have some game where they kill people and the others do an autopsy and find out how they died. There is also alot of weird kinky sex going on and the guy becomes weird like the other ones. He has a girlfriend to that he ignores to go play this game with. Thats all I really remember about it specifically. I think at the end they end up killing one of the morgue workers and the guy gets mad when he finds out its who he has to examine or something.

Can anyone tell me the name of this movie? I'd say it was made within the last 5-7 years but i'm not sure.

I'm not even sure if this is a short film or a feature length. I heard about it from a friend. A guy's father dies and he inherits a fairly large house. In the house, there's a painting of the exterior. The painting changes to reflect what's going on outside, including his father being buried. He ends up watching the painting and the grave opens up and something crawls out and approaches the house. When the thing reaches the door in the painting, there's a knock on the door and the man dies of fear.

What the heck is this from?

If you die in Canada, you die in real life.

So I remember a movie I was watching a few years a go on television, only ended up watching half of it because I got pulled away to do something else and I've been wondering what it was ever since.

It was western/pioneer era themed, with two male leads I believe. One of them being younger and the other older, the main crux of the plot lied around a horse race and a probably large sum of money that could be made in it.

I don't remember a whole lot about the film, other than the horse race. It looked like it was probably made in the fifties or sixties. The majority of the movie was about the horse race, with long sequences of racing and people attempting to fix the race in their favor.

That's all I can really recall about it. Can't remember if there was anyone big from that era in it.

Also all the women were dressed in swimsuits or leotards, just like you would see in those aerobics videos, and the "star" of this mess would scream and wave his arms in the air for no good reason, all the time, i thought it was the most hilarious thing ever.
