so i'm going to the canucks game on monday and contemplating bringing a sign, though i hate bringing signs to anything because i feel like a dick to the guys behind me whenever i hold it up, and i don't know when to hold them up. so if someone was to convince me to bring a sign, what should it say? the only thing i could think of was: ROTE FOR VORY

ahahaha this is hilarious. Just his response "Well uh, someones obviously put a lot of time into it uhhh" Its just so hilarious. Its like, this whole campaign while at the same time is kind of fun and nice to him, its just ripping the crap out of him at the same time, and I think he realises that.

If you want an easy target, Darcy Rota is GM of the Burnaby Express and usually sits in the stands at every Express game. Him and Rick Lanz usually spend their days at the Express office at Bill Copeland arena. It wouldn't be as hilarious as, say, Eddie Shack, but it's better than nothing, much like Rory himself. I just caught another journalist who's been swept up in the Vote Rory Mania. However, he does mention, "talk at the league level of throwing out the Fitzpatrick votes." That, we can all agree, would be a lame decision.

That would be unfair to throw out the votes. Why have a write in section on the ballet if the NHL can then just pick and choose who gets in and who doesn't. Of course, this is just another example of how stupid the vote is. Get the fans involved, but only if they vote for pre-approved players!
