National tragedy.

What are all of those fancy things with the strings you guys have? Here is my newest toy:


This is my new Bach Philadelphia Series Stradivarius C Trumpet. In addition to having a ridiculous name, it's a pretty drat good horn. I needed to get a C trumpet for orchestral playing and decided that I might as well get one good enough to where I could conceivably not need to replace it. I was a little nervous because I have the tendency to get terrible buyer's remorse and this trumpet had a $2900 price tag. Maybe it was the fact that I spent 7 months paying it off or maybe it is just that amazing but I am happy to report that I couldn't be happier with the purchase and haven't been able to put it down.



Bonus, it came with a case that holds my Bb trumpet with just enough room for my extra mouthpieces, tuner, and valve oil.
