Rin posted:This is correct. I believe it's one of his early works.
It's not really that early, it looks like it's from Penthouse Comix, which came out in the mid 1990s. I don't know what exactly was going on with them, but they had Keith Giffen and Adam Hughes and Kevin Maguire and all these other talented people doing really uninspired softcore porno comics.

Young Freud posted:Didn't Mark Gruenwald replace at Penthouse Comix and then die soon after?
Gruenwald was still employed at Marvel when he had a heart attack in 1996. To my knowledge he never had anything to do with Penthouse, although it seems like he did die in the same year or so.

Terensque posted:The best thing about that panel is definitely Sue's visible panty-line. Because you know that Reed planned it that way when he was designing the suits.
I know it's marginally harder for you to jerk off to, but Reed and Johnny (and Captain America and Silver Surfer and the original X-Men and the Super Adaptoid and half the characters Jack Kirby drew) had "visible panty lines" in the sense that they weren't wearing a unitard but like-colored tights and trunks.
