Then I find that rather impressive since they clearly had a script and knew when to hit certain points. They must have rehearsed quite a bit.

Tim Heidecker has been doing a webshow called "Office Hours" where he just takes Skype calls. Last night I happened to embarrass myself in one of said calls. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMQQ3FR1rmA

Decker is amazing with 5 extra dollars for the budget. Love that it kept all the little On Cinema in-jokes too. Brule was excellent as usual, got a huge kick out of them acknowledging the Awesome Show cars bit. Cherry red...

I flipped threw the Tim and Eric's Zone Theory: 7 Easy Steps to Achieve a Perfect Life book. The key to making money is, 1. Slot machines at approved Zone Theory locations only. 2. Lottery tickets. There's also a whole chapter on cannibalism and another about leaving your family and another chapter talks about combining the two. I'll be appearing in the pivotal, groundbreaking role of "Waitress" on this week's episode of Decker: Unclassified (S04E02). Here's a picture of us in action together--I'm the one in the plaid, not the one with the gun. I'm honored to have gotten to work side by side with America's greatest hero serving our country (and hungry patrons).

It takes quite a bit to gross me out, but "Eggs" succeeded. Pregnant, diseased chickens, slaughtered and put in a can, rotten eggs and shells and bones and all. I dry heaved along with Dr. Steve.

Pablo Meyer is your friendly neighborhood greengrocer from the soul-less depths of hell. I didn't think they could out-do the grossness of his cream chip beef/corn beef hash combo can, but that chicken/egg combo can was somehow worse. It helped that they actually showed the product, and had Steve eat it. The freeze frame ending of him leaning over to puke one more time was the perfect summation of the episode. I'm so glad this show's back. Does anyone know if a new episode airs next Friday, or is it taking a week off like Decker?

It really annoys me that they waste the concept and character of Dr. Steve Brule so often by having him throw up constantly or generally just taking things too far. "Eggs" was too much to the point where it pissed me off. "We know you wanna see this lovable character you like do funny things, but we're just gonna have him gag and puke for 11 minutes."

Thanks!! I knew it was a central role to the episode so I spent a long time on character development, which I think made all the difference.

Otoh I love the barf gags, I don't know what it is but I find vomit really viscerally funny. I thought Eggs was great. I was legit scared by his "dad" as soon as he met him.

I love how Check It Out and Decker both respect their own weird continuity. Check It Out acknowledges Awesome Show, and Decker is firmly in the On Cinema universe. The latter is somehow one of the most serialized shows on TV now if you take into account all of On Cinema.blinkeve1826 posted:I'll be appearing in the pivotal, groundbreaking role of "Waitress" on this week's episode of Decker: Unclassified (S04E02). I love how the continuity of Decker is so bad and obvious that you can tell it's exactly what Tim's On Cinema character would think is clever. "Do you have any goals Lanoi?" "I think some day I'd like to open a bar up in my home state of Hawaii, make it look a lot like this one. I'm just worried what will happen if I need to renovate it but can't afford it"

If anyone needs to get caught up with Decker or Check It Out!, the shows are available on adultswim.com. The episodes themselves require a cable subscription, but if you expand the Clips link, those are free to stream. The clips cover the episodes entirely.
