I've got a deep trance/breaks track stuck in my head that I'm afraid I'll never be able to identify. It was played during the burn at Alchemy this weekend (I doubt that will help, but maybe there is an off chance someone was there). It's got a breakbeat, but not too breaky...not quite as much as say Hybrid or Way Out West, but definitely more so than your standard 4-to-the-floor trance track. The synth sounds a little like the beginning of the track First State by First State. Also there is a part of the Computer Hell Cobine Mix of UB Devoid by Way Out West that really reminds me of it. You can hear the part here: http://www.last.fm/music/Way+Out+West/_/UB+Devoid+%28Computer+Hell+Cobine+Mix%29 The synth is almost a dead on match. I'm pretty sure no one will be able to ID this for me, but it's been driving me crazy since Saturday, and I thought I might as well ask. Ok, so this isn't actually a song, but a whole album. And it's not really even music, I guess, but this seemed like the best place to ask. I had an old record when I was a kid with halloween sound effects on it. Not really all that spectacular, but on side 2, it had a story of a guy who's car breaks down or something, and he has to stay in an old haunted house. It was more of a radio dramatization, and not someone just telling a story. I remember there being a woman's voice saying "where's my baby?" but I really don't remember much else. It was really creepy...at least to my 5-year-old self. I think the front, or maybe the back, of the record sleeve had a picture of 3 witches around a cauldron. I doubt I'll ever find this, but it's stuck in my head for over 20 years now, and I would love to find it again.

I've had a song stuck in my head for a few days now, and I have no idea what it is, or even if the lyrics I am singing in my head are remotely correct. What I remember is this "Did you give it up? (Stop!) ahh ahh ahh ahh" (maybe only 3 "ahh"s, maybe more...I really can't remember) The "did you give it up" part is sung by a guy, and the "stop" and ahhs are female voices. The entire part is like a pre-chorus, and the actual chorus I want to say sounds somewhat similar to that Hungry Eyes song, but I could be totally wrong about that. I know it was a radio hit when it was a current song, but like adult contemporary radio (think Michael Bolton and his ilk). I imagine it being played in a dentist's waiting room for some reason.

This one could be a little tricky/interesting. It's the first song used in this PORN NOT SAFE FOR WORK clip http://www.pornhub.com/view_video.php?viewkey=01c5129a78fc66e0a9e3 I remember it being a sample song that came with some random music software that I got on a CD that came with a MacWorld magazine or something. I think the file was called Bubbles. Has anyone else heard this song? Does it just exist in this one program, or is it a real song outside of that? Does anyone know the program that the song came with? I first heard it around 96 or 97, so I doubt it's still around, but you never know. Ok, I've got one that isn't so much a "identify this" but more of a "where can I find this?" Back when Nicktoons first started (sunday mornings when it was only Doug, Rugrats, and Ren & Stimpy) there was a commercial that featured a Nicktoons rap. The only words I remember go as follows: "...Doug, Rugrats and the Ren and Stimpy show. Yo, here we go, because we got a lot in store..." and then it went to a fast part that all rhymed, and had the line "a chilly dog" and showed either Ren or Spike (from Rugras) shivering from being cold. Does anyone else remember this? Youtube has nothing...

Anyone remember this band? This sounds like it could be 2 Skinnee J's (they have a dude named Sumpy who just dances around and drinks beer and wears a gold hat and huge sunglasses), but if you are suggesting that they suck anywhere NEAR as much as Limp Bizkit, you are horribly mistaken. However, there are approximately 8.4 million rap/rock bands from around that time, so it could be anyone. I've got one that I'll be very surprised, and grateful, if anyone gets it. I had a tape back when I was a wee lad (mid to late 80s) that was just weird funny songs. Unfortunately, I don't remember any of the songs except the chorus of one, which went: "ho ho ho hee hee hee there's a gorilla sitting on my knee ha ha ha hee hee hee it's funnier than one up a tree" I'm pretty sure they non-chorus parts of that song were just people talking and jungle sound effects and stuff. I think the tape came with a book or something that had all the lyrics and stuff to the songs, but I don't remember much about that. I'm dying to figure out what it was and if I can get it again to relive some old, old memories.

I got another one that isn't so much a "identify a song" but more a "where did I hear this song?" It was a record (or tape or something) that I had as a kid, and literally all I remember about it is that it had something to do with Batman, and it used Night on Bald Mountain as the theme (as heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8Ca_edg6RE) Does anyone remember anything that had to do with Batman that would have used that as the theme song? Ever since hearing that as a kid, I can't think of the song without thinking of Batman, and vice versa.
