If it's not "Forget Me Nots" by Patrice Rushen, it's probably a sample of it.

its kind of a folky classic rock song, they play it on classic rock stations quite a bit. Male singer(s?).

lyrics-wise, I'm sure these are probably no where close to how it actually goes, but its what I remember in my head (the chorus):

The voice sounds a lot like Randall Lee of The Cannanes/Nice/Ashtray Boy. It also sounds a bit like Michael Gira (of Swans, but if it's him it would probably be a solo track).
