Before I went to work tonight I stopped by my local TRU and picked up the Voyager Prime. My Wal-Mart restocked what looked like a box or two of the new wave finally. Picked up 08 BB, Longarm, and Dropkick. No Arcee's at all. Skipped FB Jazz and Recon Barricade. Also, if anyone needs a Classic Optimus or Jetfire, they got like 15 of each, wtf.

edit: Now with pictures!

God damnit I wish Flagstaff stores would restock.

Congrats on finding the new toys, though. I guess it gives me hope that stores near me will actually start getting stuff in sometime soon.

Edit-- then again, if this thread is any indication, it isn't just Flagstaff that's getting shortchanged on the new toys; it looks like all of Arizona is getting hosed by Hasbro distribution.

Just called the Walmart closest to me and they said they still don't have any deluxe figures in.

Saved me a trip because I was about to run out there right now.

Hmm... those of you who have found the new wave of toys, can you sound off on when you got them, and what state you're in? Maybe that'll let us get a general feel for how quickly they're moving west.

Oh, and Corbet, I'm still waiting to hear back on how much you want for those Cybertron toys I was interested in.

La la la, what a beautiful day....

Went around the Walmarts in the area to get a bunch of boxes for all the poo poo I'm selling off, all of them had the next wave of figs. The ghetto Walmart right by me is remodeling, and as I was walking into the garden center I saw a nice Alt. Ravage with a big dent in his bubble and a 10 dollar clearance sticker. Ching!

Then the other Walmart they're renovating had two new Camaro Bumblebees out. I even got the Ferrari F430 from Cars the movie, which I had never seen before.

My wife found an 08 Bumblebee, Arcee and Dreadwing at a Kohls in Wisconsin. I haven't checked the box marts in about a week, but with all these classics and whatnot being found at Walmart, I should head out... I still need a classics Devastator.

Well I'm in west coast Canada, so I don't think it's an east to west thing. Especially considering all this stuff comes from China anyways.

I love that Walmart - it's where I found my 20th anniversary DVD Prime for, like, $30. I might have to hit there and pick up Dreadwing (if the wife didn't get it for me) and Payload.

They still have a huge stack of em way up high in the clearance aisle. I passed on Dreadwing because he bot mode looked like crap. Payload is surprisingly small but still looks pretty cool.

Do you ever hit up the triangle of stores in Brown Deer (the Wal Mart, Target and Toys R Us)? We should keep each other posted on area sightings.

That Toys R Us is where I found my Soundwave reissue a month or so ago. Haven't been up that way too often - I'm down by Miller Park, so I hit the Target down there, and the Walmart up near 60th and Capitol mostly. Do you still have my email address? Drop me a line if you do.

Dreadwing is really cool. His transformation is clever, and he's got all kinds of articulation. I like him a lot.

I had partial success at Wal-Mart today. They had all 4 packs of the movie-series Robot Heroes, so I got them all. Seriously, they're utterly hilarious, and way funnier in person. I mean, I thought that the Robot Heroes G1 Starscream was pretty , but movie Megatron with his gigantic toothy grin is incredibly .

They'd also restocked the Classics, including several more Jetfires, as well as Cliffjumper, Mirage, Ramjet, and Rodimus, as well as a couple Grimlocks. I'd never seen him in person, but since I'm not a big fan of the Dinobots and "ME GRIMLOCK AM MENTALLY RETARDED", it didn't bother me much. However, everyone here kept saying how kickass Classics Grimlock was, so I picked one up. I haven't opened it yet and I'm still on the fence on if I want to, because this is $10 that could go towards a (theoretical) purchase of a Wave2 movie toy (sometime in the amorphous and indeterminate future, fates and celestial alignments providing).
So someone convince me that I should keep Grimlock.

TRU in Olympia, WA has Voyager Prime (2) and Megs (1). I went over to Target and they had a bunch of Hasbro boxes on a cart, but otherwise just a bunch of those crappy robot replicas and transforming weapons. So I don't think they're sweeping east to west.

soundblaster for bookstyle?

From Cybertron... Minicons depending on what you have. Evac, Soundblaster (cybertron), the seekers (depending on what ones), and 2nd dips on voyager Starscream if the other falls through.

Also, like The Rage, I'd be interested in the reissues as well. Which ones have you got? I think I'd be interested in #1 (Jazz), #14 (Hound), and #17 (Blitzwing), specifically.

The box was undamaged but the top of his box is alittle bent. No big deal, it'll be tossed in the closet for a while anyway.

I actually like the colors better than the G1 version; there's nothing about him that really bugs me, except maybe the excessive kibble; it's just that MP Prime was so much better than any other figure, and then you have this

I guess it's easier for a big blocky truck not to have poo poo hanging off of it at all angles than a jet with wings, ailerons, fins and other poo poo protruding everywhere. At least he only cost me 70.

If he didn't have the parts of the jet hanging off him, that show that he turns into a jet, he'd probably be pointless.
