okay, i really actually like this drat game. it is not deep, the missions are frantic, but you know what? so were a bunch of GTA missions. i'm used to time constraints, and following cars and poo poo. it's not a five-star, groundbreaking game of the year, but they paid great attention to how the robots should look and feel and it's just fun to dick around in. hectic story missions aren't that big a deal, because the entire rest of the time i can clod around as optimus prime, scale tall buildings, carry around giant hotdogs and giant pails of fries, and if that helicopter starts bothering me i will throw a tank at it. let me reiterate- optimus prime will throw a goddamn tank at a helicopter in midair with pinpoint loving accuracy and they will explode in a hail of fire and shrapnel. not to mention that fighting shockwave within an inch of my goddamn life was off the chain. PLUS the promise of unlocking that g1 model of prime, poo poo. this is well worth 20-30 bucks in my book. also here is a picture of optimus prime wielding a giant swordfish. cause he loving feels like it.

I don't know if they all run the same specials are what, but the Christmas Tree Shops have Galaxy Force Prime (black version) and Metroplex for $20 each. Picked up both of those guys today and Leader Prime, and Leader Prime blows them away. If he just had gotten the silver paint treatment like Robovision Prime, he would be perfect btw, could someone link to some pics of Shockwave from the TF game? I've searched for them with no luck

Chiming in to say I like the game a lot too. The driving isn't as bad as people make it out to be, and is as least as good as GTA with Prime, Jazz, Ironhide, and 1974 Bumblebee. However 2008 Bumblebee handles like poo poo and is a bit frustrating. I haven't used anyone else yesterday. 2008 Bee has the loosest steering known to man - you know when you were little and you'd go to the arcades and the arcade operator would have jacked the steering so moving the steering wheel a fraction of an inch would result in a full turn to the right/left? 2008 Bee handles like that. I also wish you could transform in the air but you can't which sucks. However if you transform at the end of a jump ramp you will transform in the air and fling yourself through the air while being badass. Also in the first area, the Suburbs, there is a big plaza in the middle with jump ramps. More importantly, the Plaza is named Metroplex  Anyhow whenever Optimus Prime is like "Transform and Roll Out" I'm like gently caress YES OPTIMUS TRANSFORMING AND ROLLING THE gently caress OUT WOO RIGHT ON YES SIR, so I may not be judging it objectively on the gameplay. It does lead to a lot of intense action but it also has this "go here quick, kill two guys, go here quick" style that could get annoying for some.

Jesus, take a couple days off and the slash art comes out, please no more of that crap. That poo poo is why I gave up trying to communicate with fans. I wish I had a 360 to play the game, but metallian has shown me that I can play the game on my ancient rig and I think a trip to target is in order.

I finally called on my hosed-up Xbox360 (and picked up The Darkness, which I obviously can't play until the 360 is fixed, and got a $10 giftcard at Target with it), so I'll be using my $10 giftcard on Transformers after I get my next paycheck. I'm trying to decide if I should hold out for the "Cybertron Edition" or if I should just get the regular 360 version.

I'm glad they're cancelling the 6' Titaniums, those things were trash. Poorly designed, bad QC, and retarded character choices. Who exactly was clamoring for ANOTHER Beast Machines Cheetor, or an Optimal Optimus missing his beast mode?

That's the "Stealth Attack" Optimus Prime repaint, not Ultra Magnus, but expect a white/blue Optimus Prime in the near future. I think Evac and the Osprey are going to be toys for the '08 line, if I read the previous posts correctly. Edit: Beaten, but I would like to add that the Osprey looks 10 kinds of badass, despite the lack of hands.

The black and red guy is a repaint of the cellphone scout. Looks like its a Decepticon this time and its name is Wiretap. Edit: It also looks like there's a repaint of Lazerbeak that's hidden by its sign. Autobot birdy named Nightbeat 7.

Masterpiece Starscream : Retail 59.99. Damnit thats a loving steal compared to the Takara version. I might have to break down and buy it later this year. Also it looks like most of the new figures are slated for a September release which is sad but I guess it gives the rest of the line time to sell.

Leader Brawl looks good, but the tan repaint looks amazing. The new Osprey looks great as well. Most of the other repaints are kind of ugly, too bright for the realistic movie molds.
