I hate scout class because they're just good enough that I can be walking by one in a store and impulse buy it because of the cost/value ratio in my mind  Related to that, I got Beachcomber a few days ago and it seems like one of his guns is somewhat deformed, which I found odd since it's not that derpy soft plastic that usually has that problem. It's a really, really hard feeling one that heating+bending didn't seem to do crap to, so I'm wondering if there's any other real methods of trying to warp it un-bent again.

It's that hard britle plastic isn't it. I have Beachcomber and Dunerunner, I wouldn't know how to straighten them. On the other hand Beachcomber shouldn't have guns so.

Dear GOD I am completely in love with WFC.  It's amazing, if you haven't played it lie, cheat, steal or kill to play this game. loving owns. So awesome. WFC is proof that Primus loves us and wants us to be happy.

Generations figures are out in TRU! I know Drift catches a lot of flak for his characterization, but his action figure is actually pretty well designed. It's refreshingly simple, making it a good counterpoint to WFC Prime, who is almost comically overengineered.

I've seen video reviews of Drift and he does look like an absolutely fantastic Transformer, but his characterization makes me hate him so, so much.

Japan get such nice things. "Elite Guard" Animated Prowl in G1 colors, even in that blurry scan looks amazing, gotta have him. And ROTF Dreadwing & "Smokescreen"- neat idea, but shouldn't it be Dreadwind and Darkwing? Maybe it's a mistake. I know I had to look up the correct names for the G1 characters.

I just picked up a WFC Optimus for $24 AUD at a local Big W. A BIG W! Jeez I never thought they'd have them. They had bumblebee too. I really really really want Soundwave and Megatron. When does he come out? (This is my first Transformers toy since I was a kid. I had all sorts of transformers as kid, some would be worth lots of money today if I had of kept them, like my original G1 Optimus with trailer and all the stuff inside  )EDIT: Took him out of the box, transformed him, then changed him back and posed him in my bookcase for display. I had no idea Transformers got so drat difficult to transform! Pics:   EDIT: I'm interesting in getting into some of the comics. Can someone please give me some recommended reading, in paperback form? Cheers

So Botcon starts today. Some pics were put up of stuff there but were pulled down at the request of Hasbro They had a G1 Commemorative Seacons Set, Animated Ironhide and Hot Rod. and a couple of crappy movie 2 packs. I didn't save the pics unfortunately but someone might have them somewhere.

The TPB isn't out yet (not until September) but Last Stand of the Wreckers is easily the best thing IDW has put out during its run. It's the fanwankiest thing you'll ever read, so there will probably be a billion things you won't notice, and it doesn't feature many prominent characters, but it's a solid story and can stand on its own merits.

If you look at the Publishing order link I posted you can see which ones to read first. I bought the original Piranacon loose but complete at a botcon like 5 or 6 years ago and it cost me about 80 bucks. I think I still have it back home, but it's probably in a box somewhere now (all my stuff back home is in storage). Now I wish I had it with me.
