Where do you live? Some retail stores are bound to carry some. Toys R Us usually has the whole rank up, though they tend to sell out faster due to that. Target, Kay Bee Toys, Kmart, Fred Meyers, and pretty much any store with a decent Toy Department should have a slot for voyager class transformers.

Gah, the new game sounds like some good old smash 'em up with TF fun. Now I'm gonna have to look into getting it.

On the toy front, the walmarts around here are SCARCE with alternators, especially with them going on clearance. I've been looking in vain for a Ravage, and might even pay regular price for one, even if someone can find it on clearance price. I'd of course pay shipping. I also might be looking to unload some obscure G1 figs, but they're in pretty bad shape. How particular are people about figs with missing limbs, rusted joints, etc?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get blackouts's rotor blade weapon placed in robot mode. The instructions are so unclear and there's no pictures on seibertron of him holding it like that. If I put it on that peg on his shoulder its so wobbly and unsecure, and his hand can't really reach the handle without sorta contorting into a really awkward position

Question about the game. I watched that interview a while back, and the guy said there would be unlockable G1 models, AND G1 reskins, but while looking at the player's guide etc, it doesn't seem that either are unlockable.

Am I just wrong, or is that guy a lying gently caress?

you've probably got it right. that particular feature is, i feel, pretty half-baked. not only is it wobbly and he can barely hold it, it's also too heavy for his hip if he's on a smooth surface and he starts to limbo lower... lower.. how low can he gOH GOD TOO LOW

god I really want to like this figure but it seems I'm getting unlucky with him...this one keeps triggering its automorph head function while I try to stick the legs into the body. It seems as though the way its set up, once you fasten its shoulders into the nose, it gets locked in a position which keeps his head from going flush into the nose, since the automorph mechanism seems locked into place....ugh!

the automorph is... it's really odd. the leg bit has this deal where you turn the head bit, and the legs seem to want to move backwards, but what they're really doing is moving DOWN and backwards, and then once the head is in place you manhandle the legs forward and lock them in. it's really hard to wrap your head around and i wish they hadn't bothered, but once you get the hang of it it's no biggie. HE'S AWESOME I PROMISE

It seems your post got overlooked, and while I can't really help answer your question (having not played the game or looked at the player's guide), but there IS a developer interview on Gametrailers.com that talks about unlockable G1 models (dunno about reskins, though). I also recall some post near the end of the previous Transformers Toy Thread that had button codes for unlocking G1 stuff.

If you look at it, it's got two slots that fit into the underside of Barricade's torso. The piece fits in at an angle, too, so don't try to force it so it's "flat", because it won't work. If it's in properly, you'll see the slots are fitting into Barricade's torso, and his upper body is angled downward forward a bit.

i think those two tabs are supposed to lock in a bit better but this whole line seems to have an issue with tabs that don't do their goddamn job, i'm talking to you brawl's shoulders. luckily it doesn't really hurt much on barricade unless he's getting dipped low by blackout in your homemade recreation of "Dancing With the Stars: Transformers Edition."

The other 4 are:
G1 Megs (model)
G1 Jazz (skin)
G1 Starscream (skin)
Robovision Prime (skin?)

So, here's the deal on the Target Codes... You have to select "New Game" from the main menu, and then enter the code. A bigass screen comes up saying "Sup dawg, you use dis code, you can't save an' poo poo, and yo broke rear end ain't even THINK 'bout gettin' no achievements, boyeeee"

Basically, all the stuff you can unlock using codes, can be unlocked using Achievements and unlocks in-game. For example, G1 Model Prime and Megs are unlocked by getting all the faction symbols for the respective factions, Robovision Prime is from beating the autobot campaign, etc.

Hope that helps, guys
