The Ambassador Walmart has like 2 or 3 of him, and TRU got in a new shipment of Voyagers today (sadly, Deluxes won't be in until "Maybe Thursday?").

And one of us really has to start a MechaCon thread or something

I just checked my Wal Mart and saw nothing of the new Movie stuff. Found the Robot Heroes 5 pack, and they had about 9 boxes of the Constructicon repaint Devastator.

I hate you USPS. Drove by our mail boxes today, saw that one of the package boxes had a key gone, and figured my figures from Rhyno had arrived today, no such luck. The waiting game sucks almost as bad as the "thrill of the hunt" game.

None of my stores locally have restocked. I've checked multiple days in a row. At least, thats my experience so far.

More than likely locally - hell, we don't even have shelf warmers at either of the local K-Marts, either Wal*mart, or our single Target here. I actually couldn't find Swindle and Scorponok.

I've never seen a child anywhere near the TF section at any store in my area unless they got lost on the way to Spiderman. I don't see what that changes, anyway. Either way, we aren't getting them and someone else is and thus we are frustrated by our bad luck. And the ones on eBay/being sold for twice their retail on Amazon aren't being sold by little kids. They're being sold by scalpers.

And it's the very same Bugbite that became the recent Botcon exclusive, a recolor of Classics Deluxe Bumblebee as we all know.

As an interesting sidenote: That version of Bugbite along with a few other Minibot recolors, all e-Hobby exclusives, are supposed to come from the Gobots universe originally(But the bios were removed for some reason shortly before release, so all that's left is names)

Just came from seeing 'Transformers' with my father (he hadn't seen it). It's even better the 3rd time!

I also checked Target and saw that they had 2 empty pegs, and only about 7 of Wreckage left. I found an employee near the toy section and asked if they were going to restock the $10 Transformers, and he went in the back and checked to see if they had any more, and they didn't, but he told me that they have shipment trucks with random stuff showing up every night, and the night crews unload the trucks and put stuff on the shelves between 9:30PM and 6:30AM, so I could check back tomorrow morning and they might have more stuff.
Frankly, he was the single most helpful Target employee I've encountered to date, and I actually walked out of Target feeling good, even though I hadn't actually scored any new toys.

A Wal-Mart employee told me the same thing once. But she said it so she wouldn't have to check the back for me. So I kind of smell bullshit when I hear that particular line.

Well, I dunno. This guy grabbed the price sticker off one of the pegs, went into the back for about 5 minutes, and then came back out and said they didn't have anything, which is why the pegs were so barren and not restocked at the time. Hey, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, I guess. vv

I am so glad I got mine for $35 at Target. Last one in the clearance aisle too, hiding behind a Spider-Man backpack right after Christmas. Umm, if it was a BR goon who hid it back there, I'm sorry...

I'm expecting that stack will go on clearance soon enough, because at $100 a pop, those things won't sell.

Trust us, they're the only quality non-movie Transformers toys left in the whole county, and the store was likely full of exasperated parents anyway.

Yeah the dye ratio is 4 to 1 : water to acetone. It's not critical, just make sure you have enough acetone that it won't all evaporate before you finish dyeing.

I went looking for Wave 2 stuff today. Found out Target must have restocked yesterday at some time, because they had a pile of the Scouts, but no Elita 1.

No place had anything from Wave 2 deluxe.

I did find the three Robot Replica guys at Walmart, though. Barricade is sweet, I wanted Megatron for my Optimus Prime/Megatron battle on my desk at work, and I figured I might as well buy Bumblebee if I'm getting the other two

Goddamnit Target.

Despite what I was told yesterday, they didn't restock.
In fact, all they did was sort of spread the remaining 7 Wreckages around on the empty pegs to make it look like there's more toys than there actually were.

It's sad to say, but that's most likely true... More toys = more interest... more interest = studio willing to front more money... more money = way more awesome movie with tons of transformers kicking rear end.

The jet is a MiG-29 named Dreadwing.
I happen to like Arcee. In fact, the more I play with the toy, the more I like it. I posted a review of both Dreadwing and Arcee a couple pages back.

And I went to Target this afternoon, thinking maybe that's where the BR goon found his stuff, and it's the same sad story as yours. Actually, worse. They had THREE, count them, THREE Deluxes on the main toy aisle (Wreckage, Brawl, and Scorponok), and the rest of the section was filled with Skyblast, Hardtop, and that Maser scout classes and the Real Gears. I go to the front of the store, and see a rack of more deluxes by the checkout, look through them, and it's like eight more Wreckages, three Jazzes, a Bonecrusher, a Hardtop Scout, and the Target Exclusive Legends 4-pack.

I might hit Toys R Us later. RIght now I'm too bummed out.

Dunno if it will make you feel better or not, but 08 Bumblebee is on par with Ironhide when it comes to "How the gently caress do I make him a vehicle again?".

I have some shopping to do later today (gotta find a cheap bookcase), so I am going to keep an eye out on the toy aisle. If I see another 'bee I will grab him and we can have a mini goon meet and you can have him for cost

If I see any others, I will grab em for the semi local goons as I hate going to ebay for anything.

I got reeeaaaaal lucky Thursday night; On a hunch I went out lookin for an 08 Bumblebee, and happened across a walmart stocker just setting boxes out. We BS'ed and he opened a box for me, asking me what I wanted. I asked for Bumblebee, and he pulled 2 out of the box. I took ONE (and snagged an Arcee), and he smiled and said, "Ah, good. Usually people try to snatch them all up. I HATE E-bay scalpers!"

He filled me in on his stocking schedule, so hopefully I can just go shoppin when he's restocking to finish my collection.

*IF* I happen across any more 'Bees I'll grab one or two and update here in case there are any goons left that can't find one anywhere.
