Stupid_Sexy_Flander posted:Checking back in on the thread. I got lucky in Gonzales. The wal mart there has a new assortment of stuff. They only had 1 bumblebee though. I looked for a few extra to help out on here, but didn't see anything. It's been years since I've been there, but there used to be a store called Toy Liquidators at the Tanger Outlet mall. Is that store still around? I wonder if they would have any Alternators or older-release stuff?

ALl that's left is a lovely KB Toys Outlet.

Well, didn't get a chance to go Wave 2 hunting today (saving that for when the TRU lady said their Deluxe shipment would arrive), but Ravage finally showed up on my doorstep today. I'm not ashamed to say I spent a good 5 minutes laughing at the fact that due to the first couple steps of the transformation scheme, you can turn a Jaguar into some kind of legged Flinstones car. ...I'm easily amused

The walmart closest to my house had 1 Dreadwing and restocked their leader figures. 3 Optimus Primes and 1 Megatron. I will say right now that if anyone picks up an extra Bumblebee, I'll drop everything I have right now to buy it from you. I want that thing so bad I actually had a dream about him last night. That is totally not like me and actually weirded me out. Toys R Us had 2 70's BB and got my hopes up.

I found an Arcee at a SuperTarget, but still no '08 Bumblebee. Looks like the Targets all up and down Randall have been somewhat refreshed with the old wave of figures, there's some more Leader Primes and Megatrons around, and a bunch more Deluxe figures than just Wreckage and Scorponok. So I ended up buying a Barricade, old Bumblebee, and Jazz, all 3 of which I had never planned on. The Bumblebee appears to be a newer fixed version. Have to reiterate that Arcee is amazingly similar in transformation to the Energon Scout version (also Target-exclusive Movie Scout repaint). Nice overall figure but the crossbow is fairly awkward. Jazz I like but for the lower arm and hands. Barricade suffers from a bit of Alternator-itis that I complained about with Ironhide with regards to the legs in alt form, but is pretty cool. I like Bumblebee's automorph gimmicks.

Let me reiterate. I hate all of you BR/Louisiana Goons who found Bumblebee today, because I went to THREE different Wal-Marts AND the Toys 'R Us, and only two of the Wal-Marts even looked like they might have had Bumblebee (trace amounts of Arcee and Dreadwind were found). At the Wal-Mart near Cortana, they didn't even have Arcee or Dreadwind. They had ONE Deluxe movie figure, and it was loving Bonecrusher. I didn't leave empty handed. I did find the G1 Bumblebee keychain, though. I'm sick of waiting for 07 Bumblebee (and my movie-line hype is going down), so I'm getting some things I missed from past lines. I won a TM2 dragon Megatron on ebay, now I just need to get a TM Barney Megatron (and those cool disk replicas) to replace my old one that lost his leg (why is that toy so fragile?)
