Non Sequitur: Apr 22, 2007; A queasy undergraduate scratching his pimples

The idea is to find a picture of something that looks utterly ridiculous and exaggerated but actually exists. Photoshops have gotten good enough that sometimes you can only tell that they're fake by realizing that the thing you see could never be real. Well, sometimes that just doesn't work.

To start things off:

This is the creatively named Swiss Army Giant. It has 88 tools and 110 functions, and it's yours for just $1200.

If it's not manipulated besides cropping/lighting/whatever, sure. Otherwise no.

Perhaps you could hitch him to a wagon and have him haul some stuff around like a mini horse. I dunno about US distributors, but last I checked these costed around the equivalent of $80. It's a combination of the higher real income in Japan and the gimmick factor.

That and they're gift melons. You buy them to give to other people, if I recall correctly.

I think it would be wonderfully novel to have a couple of gift melons to feed to my German Giant rabbit. Imagine the odd looks that scene would bring about from passers-by.
