Also, if that's Ayame's best assessment of Iris, she's basically Kanna except with MIND MUSCLES instead of actual ones.

...really, come to think of it, "speaks her mind when she likes something" really applies to all of the pilots. Except Sakura because she's so tsundere you can hear the switch flip, and Maria, because admitting you like something is a sign of weakness.

1) For some reason, I'm liking the term MIND MUSCLES.

2) I'm convinced that Sakura is borderline yandere, and Maria is quite capable of speaking her mind so long as she has a pistol in her hands because that way no one will try disagreeing with her anyway.

With the way you've exaggerated the portrayal of Sakura from "occasional jealousy" into "psychotically-obsessed stalker", I can see that comparison.

At least, I assume a lot of that is comedic exaggeration. (Though Iris's destructive capabilities were only slightly exaggerated, so who knows?)

Yeah. It's Marisa from the Touhou series (made popular in part by the IOSYS flash), and Abe from Kusomiso Technique (which is, hands-down, the most infamous yaoi manga in existence.

EVERYBODY has a measure of control over Iris's state of mind, so it's not ALL Ogami's fault. It's just MOSTLY his fault because she's so stuck on him.

Though I DO have to say that the latter is probably more frightening.

And it really didn't take too long, actually... two-frame animations are the height of my gif-making abilities. Once I got into the groove of it, it was maybe an extra minute for each picture.

When I saw it in the comic shop I debated with myself over whether or not to buy it. I mean, it was on sale, but it was... frightening. It was in my room a good month or two before I finally had the nerve to send it away... It was in the plastic bag I'd gotten it in until I finally mailed it away. I couldn't stand to have it stare out at me... :gonk:
