I'm not sure if this is an issue with this extension or just with firefox in general, but how do you use middle click to open an item from the SA menu into a new tab? I can open bookmarks into new tabs with middle click just fine but I can't find any settings anywhere for other menus.

Edit: Should mention I'm using OSX 10.7.3. I just tested it on Windows 7 and it works fine so it must be some weird OSX-specific issue and not related to this extension. Anyone know what's up with this thing and how to fix it?

I always just right click from the SA Menu (Windows) and it works just fine. Maybe the OSX treatment will be the same?

Rolled a 1 on the random encounter table, didn't you?

Just recently the image resizing feature changed in a way I don't like. It used to be you could click anywhere on an image that had been shrunk to show it at full size but now you have to click the tiny blue box in the top left showing the image's size.

I disabled the option to have SALR shrink images, then closed and restarted Firefox but it still shrinks images. What's going on?

That's not an SALR thing, there's a new forum coder and he's working on things. The TIMGs didn't used to work right in some browsers so it was recoded.

Probably best to wait a bit to see if he changes timg function any more before adding a fix in. Give it a week!

It's not a direct fix but I use an extension called ImageZoom that allows you to right click+left click an image and it'll toggle expanding it to full screen. Works great on many websites where the image is too small, not just SA.

i shaved my balls of steel for this?

I know this is probably a stupid question but my forum navigator seems to have disappeared. The one with the drop down list of page numbers that sits on the bottom right of the screen. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox 3.6 as well as the extension. I then upgraded to the latest version of FF (12.0 I believe) and it's still missing. I have the button checked in SALR Preferences to show it also.

Any ideas?

The forums are going through exciting times right now, now that there's a coder that's actually competent. One of the things he's done is add the links from the top of the page to the bottom of the page. However, SALR only adds the "Configure SALR" link to the top of the page. Can it also add the link to the bottom, so it matches with the rest of my Forum Experience?

I know this is a completely superfluous thing, but if other stuff needs changing because of the forum updates could that be added in too?

SALR for Chrome does this, but I'm not sure if it was just changed.

I'd rather SALR not get "fixed" for that. I like where the page navigator is now and i just removed the up thing with adblock plus since I never need it since the Home key exists on my keyboard.

The "UP" button appears on both lower corners. I suppose SALR could tinker with the Javascript to make it only appear on the left...

Well I didn't mean move it to the left corner, I meant nudge it over a little bit to compensate. Like, if the UP link's a 100 pixel thing, move the navigator over 100-120 pixels.

So I noticed that SALR no longer selects the video quality for youtube videos. It still seems to make the video the right size, but it's always the default quality now.

Also, when that's being fixed, could there also be an option added to automatically turn off annotations for youtube videos? They have a little button for it but it'd be fantastic if I didn't have to click that button.

Fuck the cowboys. Unf. Fuck em hard.

Hi consider this a pull request or something

Starting at line 773 of components/SALastReadCom.js, before:
Javascript code:
		if (this.getPreference('resizeCustomTitleText'))
		{
			CSSFile += 'dl.userinfo dd.title { width: 159px !important;  overflow: auto !important;}\n';
			CSSFile += 'dl.userinfo dd.title * { font-size:10px !important; }\n';
		}
after:
Javascript code:
		if (this.getPreference('resizeCustomTitleText'))
		{
			CSSFile += 'dl.userinfo dd.title { width: 159px !important;  overflow: auto !important;}\n';
			CSSFile += 'dl.userinfo dd.title .bbcf-xx-large { font-size:10px !important; }\n';
			CSSFile += 'dl.userinfo dd.title .bbcf-x-large { font-size:10px !important; }\n';
			CSSFile += 'dl.userinfo dd.title .bbcf-large { font-size:10px !important; }\n';
		}
This changes the custom-title-text shrinking behavior from "change all the text to 10px" to "change all the large text to 10px". I'm not sure why the value is 10px but whatever.
I'm not a JS/CSS dev so this is just a quick hack but it works on my end.
edit: Apparently font sizes can be defined numerically too

I need a bit of help. I'm runing VectorSigma's Quote- & Code-Box Prettifier, and something's changed in the forum code semi-recently that affects it. If I'm looking at a Pre-box, everything looks good, and the text is rendered in green as seen in the example below.

However, if I'm looking at a CODE-box, the text is rendered in black and is tough to read against the background. I'm hopeless with .css. Can anyone point out what I need to change to get the text back in green for a Code-box?

The new coder added a bunch of new color features to the code tag for stuff like displaying javascript and css codes. I'm too dumb to try and make all of those work with how you want, but I can remove the background image, and the text shadow. Making the background white will solve any problems with reading the variety of colors, but it may not be as fancy as before.

CSS code:
/* Code Content */

.bbc-block pre {
margin: 0 ! important;
background: #ffffff ! important;
border: 1px solid ! important;
border-top: none ! important;

bold: b
italic: i
strike: s
subscript: numpad-, normal -/_
superscript: numpad +, =/+
underline: u
fixed: f

Shouldn't be difficult to add.
