Loveline archive just had a MASSIVE update today, those of you trying to find shows can probably get them now. Very late edit: The cap for shows downloaded has gone up to seemingly the 50's, it used to be 10 or so, so download ones you have been meaning to while the extra bandwidth is there. Guys, can someone help me out with locating two shows I have heard about but have yet to find. Number one has an 'angry' post-op transsexual on it who managed to piss both Adam and drew off. The other is one with a psychic who also managed to set Adam off. In regards to the psychic one, I am not talking about the Peter James show. I recall there being a show where Adam spent the entire time getting in a psychic's face and it sounds awesome.

It's kind of weird and uncomfortable to listen to the former just because how hostile and angry that thing sounds like. By the way, not the same Dr Bruce just so were clear.

Just posting to say that I'm a ramblin man, and all the women know that when they go to work, I'll be leaving shortly after. My dad was a ramblin man, but he rambled early. I mean, I ramble. Phoenix is a good city to ramble in, but I dont mean to say that I wake up early and ramble. I ramble around noon. I roll out of bed around 10:45, beat off, have a cup of coffee and then it's time to ramble. I'm not gettin up at first light, I'm a rambler. Why ramble at first sun? You don't got a job, what's the point? Rambling is something you do when there's nothing else to do, or you're just a rambler. By the way, you guys need to write a song about rambling. Kids today don't know about rambling, how to ramble, when to ramble, how to negotiate with a rambler, what to do when you run into a rambler who's rambling on the road, what to do with women who are the devil. There's a lot of devil women that you need to ramble from. I always like the part where the chick doesn't want the guy to ramble. Rambling, not such a bad thing. Noon-time rambler. At first light, I'll be sleepin for another six hours. When you're breaking for lunch, I'll be thinking about rambling. Loveline 2004-01-08. Listen to it and enjoy.

I have to agree, the Papa Roach Christmas was the best episode, but one of the best calls was when Mary Carrie called (7-27-2003, first or second call). It's at least as good (to me) as the holocaust call. Too bad the rest of the night the callers were on quaaludes and ether, or it'd be my favorite episode.

I have been listening to the loveline stream for a while... oh man if anyone wants to listen to a funny episode... 10/17/2002 the horse "nooo!" from the girl... and the last call where they ask the guy a question then mute him while he goes on and on, then pick it back up ten seconds later saying "uh huh... please go on..." and repeat. I haven't laughed that hard at loveline in a while!

I was just listening to an episode (June, 15 2005) where after the Gorillaz bumper is played they have a short chat about when Gorillaz was on the show and by the way they talk about it they were either a really awesome guest, or a really terrible guest. I cant quite tell if they were being sarcastic, but the probably were, either my interest is whetted, anyone know which episode this was? Cant find it on the archive.

Thanks guys, found it on http://lovelinecentral.com i'll take a listen now. Gorillaz, The Darkness, why do the british bands always suck (Though i guess not having prior knowledge of loveline like most american guests do is part of the cause of that) Anyone think of some British guests who don't let the side down? Edit: Well that certainly was, unique, i wouldn't say they were a bad guest, just, lively.. Kaso fucked around with this message at 23:02 on Oct 27, 2007 |

Adam definitely takes the "bad cop" role, and in contrast to Drew, definitely handles it a lot more calmly and with a detached cantankerous "whatever" attitude. Drew gives a drat and tends to get sucked in to needy people, and obviously overcompensates for that when he's alone by not giving himself time to empathize.

2002-5-29 is up on lovelinearchive.com, and that's one where David Alan Grier subs for Adam but shows up a little late. It's only a few minutes though, and that's what got me curious to see how many calls Drew could plow through solo. Edit: Found one! 2005-02-20 is one where Adam calls in from somewhere for the first 20 minutes or so, then calls it a night and Drew does the rest of the show. It's an interesting listen so far. Does anyone know the date of the episode where Drew bet Adam $100 that he had genital warts and he put acetic acid on adam's junk? I remember laughing harder than I have ever to this show and I espeically remember it because our power had gone out and I was listening to a battery power radio with a flashlight. It was a while ago so it could be before 2000 but I'm not sure.

I have two questions I hope one of you can answer. There was a show when Adam and Drew were talking to this girl that had the radio in the background and Adam made the comment about how he sounded like Hitler at a Nazi rally. The other show I hope you guys can identify is with a female guest, 20-30 who's dad was in some service, maybe was in Vietnam. Drew and Adam then launched into a great improv on how he would set up his front yard with booby traps like the sharpened stick with the fecal matter on it and such. I have been wanting to hear this show forever and I cannot goddamn find it. I hope you guys know either one or both of these *fingers crossed*
