There has been bad blood between Adam and Drew from just before ther cohosting ended all the way up until the present day. I would be surprised if Adam went back to be a guest on Loveline when he has his own show anyway.

There is no bad blood. They now work for rival companies, so they can't have each other on each other's show. Plus, they acknowledge that that era of loveline is over, so doing shows together isn't necessary.

I need to go along with the people who can't stand DAG. I'm glad he wasn't made presenter of the show. Bare in mind my only actual experience with him is that episode where he split up with his girlfriend (6 weeks previous) and spends the whole time wailing and shouting. Drew and Adam just sit there laughing it up like he was some kind of genius. I don't think I even lasted 10 minutes.

This episode came on the stream yesterday and I couldn't stop laughing. I love DAG because he is so insane.

Today's podcast was the worst yet. The Shaman's schtick was terrible and unfunny. I really had to force myself to get to the end. Sarah Silverman's sister is pretty boring too. God I can't believe Adam let the Shaman sing that song for so long. It was the least funny thing I have ever heard in my life. I hope Adam makes fun of him as one of the terrible guests later on.

Kattan wasn't nearly as bad as this, although to me he came off as kind of a dick.

Whether or not Adam is an rear end in a top hat isn't the point to me. Anderson is the engineer and should either play drops or shut the gently caress up. Jesus he was trying to get words in the entire night. It was like that last time Adam was in as well. He isn't the co-host and he isn't funny unless he does a well timed drop. Adam was willing to move on after a bit of arguing but Anderson kept on having to chime in with one more thing to set Adam off.
DAG leaving was a surprise, but I do understand it. Up until Anderson started acting like a oval office the show as great. I hope Anderson gets in trouble for last night. I think right before Adam dropped the F-bomb I heard Anderson say it but it didn't get beeped.

Adam on the I love Movies podcast was amazing. I had to clench my teeth in order to not burst out laughing at work. All those guys are so quick with their jokes.

I was so pissed at Anderson that I considered writing him an angry email or something, but then I realized that that goes way beyond the limits of my loveline fandom. Hopefully tonight is better.

Here is where I was coming from, literally. I spent the last 9 days volunteering at an oncology camp. I've been working this camp for 15 years now and it's my favorite place on earth. This past week was more difficult than past summers for me due to some of the very sick and terminal kids that I lived with and was directly responsible for. My eyes were still puffy from all the crying I had done when I showed up last night. Loveline with Adam was the last place I wanted to be and even tried to get the night covered.
I agree that I should have sat back and spoken less/not at all, but I couldn't. I realize that I come off as insensitive. For those of you who don't know, I love Bryan and get very emotional every time I think of what he is going through. He knows this and I said nothing last night that I have not said to him personally or on The Film Vault podcast.
I'm sorry that DAG walked. The $150 comment is clearly a terribly dark joke. After going through what I have gone through with really sick kids, I look at the whole Bryan topic from a different point of view than most.
All of that said though, my main objective was to win my bet with Ann. The line was set at 5 and a half and I took the under. I realized that bringing up my buddy Bryan was the best way to win.
I hope this clears a bit of this up.
PS. I lost the bet.

This is what Anderson said on the AC boards. I don't believe he went to that length to win a bet, but if he did, he is more retarded than I thought. Ruined a good show.

I fast forward through anything football related now because I am so tired of it. If he wants to talk about football he should do a football podcast like carcast.

The podcasts this week have been better than the last few weeks. He finally isn't ranting about the same topics every day. I have been listening to loveline for years, so not much Adam says is new, but the fact that he talked about other subjects this week made enough change to make it feel new.

God knows what is going to happen with this show. Adam is at his best with a solid partner, and without Dr. Drew, he's very untamed as far as radio goes.

I think Adam is trying to do too much too quickly. Expanding and making an 'empire' worked for Stern because Stern is huge, but Adam doesn't have the name behind him to be able to be as successful.

God drat today's podcast was painful.
I love when Adam talks about the inside stuff that happened on Loveline, but Giovanni is the creepiest motherfucker on the planet. He spends way too much time thinking about Adam and memorizing every little detail of his life and career. I am surprised that Adam lets him hang around sometimes.
He comes off like he thinks he is a part of Adam's crew and an integral part of his career.

His rear end kissing makes me sick. Adam is not the pinnacle of comedy, and isn't the world's best stand up. Sure, he is funny, but Adam's routines are JUST like standup because he repeats himself so often. He has a select number of bits he can throw into a discussion, but in terms of new improv, Adam rarely says something new these days.

I am pretty sure that if Adam took off his pants, Giovanni would blow him.

I didn't make it through this podcast either. It started off bad for me because I have the trumpet play-a-long book that his dad was using, and about halfway through the opening song his time got turned around and he was playing the song one beat ahead of where it should have been.
