Okay, I'm not sure whether this would fall into the 'so cool that I must share it' or the 'so naff that I must share it' category, but share it I must.

If the average craigslist caller/buyer is any indication, you got assume the buyer has a turnip for a brain. State the obvious over and over.
That may not be enough. I sold a dilapidated Fiat Spider on Craigslist that had sat in my driveway for 3 years. I said several times in big uppercase letters THIS CAR WILL NOT START IT IS FOR PARTS ONLY I AM NOT A MECHANIC I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEMS ARE and half the replies were "hey dose its start?" or "whats does it need to get started?"

I swear to god I don't know how these people found their way on to craigslist with reading comprehension skills like this.

So exactly how hard does a bike have to "tip over in the driveway" for the entire front half to come off

Honestly, I wish this guy were an anomaly in my area, but used car prices around here are absolutely loving retarded. I mean, someone's selling a 91 Camry for loving 5 grand. I don't care how nice it is, unless it's sporting a 1UZ or something under the hood, there's no way it justifies that. And a 1990 Civic with nearly half a loving million kilometers on the clock for 1500$. :psyduck:
You know we pay a premium for used cars here because anything born and raised in Victoria has probably seen snow twice in its life, and has a 50% chance of having been driven by an 90 year old woman from Oak Bay who never went faster than 20kph.

This does not really apply when trying to sell a rusted-out shitheap from Port Alberni though.

This car has been cracking me up on craigslist for the last few weeks: 1997 Acura Integra Show Car Over $50,000 Invested - $27995

Why do all these "show cars" have so many TVs in them? What does it prove?

I've never really understood that.

What was going through his head when he put on that hoodscoop we may never know.

"WAS----- $2,195, then I had this for 1 week only @ $1,950. That price ended on February 17th. Now I am listing this for $2,000 for 1 week. This new price will end on March 4th. Hurry and Buy now because the price will increase by $50 each week until I reach the original selling price."

I'm not sure he understands how pricing works
